WNY is a crap hole. Of course it's cheap to live here because the population is so damned low due to so many people leaving, and no one wants to live here besides old retired people. Unless you have a Master's degree you'll be making minimum wage or close to minimum wage in some menial crap job with no benefits and no future. In fact, I know people with Master's degrees here making nothing. Speaking of jobs, there are none in WNY unless you think being a cashier or a general laborer is a career.
