@f3aroffours Thanks! The Girls aloud pic came up when I was looking for 'out of control', so I just shoved it in the video. Does seem a bit daft now, I have to admit.
Anyway, this song got an honorable mention on The Guardian's Readers Recommend page this week as a brilliant debut single. So there.
Punk is nothing but death and destruction and the RAGE of a Kaled Mutant. If only Batman were here to save us from the alien evils of rock and roll...
@eduargentino Thanks Edu, I think the band only existed for about 11 months, so it's good that they're not forgotten. Cheers, and good luck to Messi and company!
Man, I'm 43 y.o, and there are only a few things useful on the net . This is not only useful, but pure Culture for generations!
By the way: sound is superb too! The first time I heard this band (on a reel tape in Mono) I thought they were DEVO... (back in 1979)... Maybe I'm talking crap, but I had a Big Time with your devo-tion to this theme, so thanks for the fun and all the joy this piece give us! Greetings from Argentina. you are a champ!
Thanks meganlalalaa, 66gadus. I'm just so pleased that so many people like or remember this song. I wonder if it'll feature in the next Dr. Who hahahaha!
Bloody great tune! One of my absolute faves. I think The Art Attacks were one of the best punk bands from the 70s,yet shamefully very underrated. I'm glad to see other people appreciate it as well! :) Thanks for the post!
Yes, thanks vegetubleman. This was the first record I ever bought. I stayed up late & listened to the John Peel show (very daring at 16 then) then bought next day with Stanglers 'Go Buddy Go'. Up in the loft somewhere. Happy days!
@violetmummy hahaha thanks for the reminder. I'm gonna spend the whole week thinking about Katy Manning now.
