No, the "World War" started when he invaded Poland. Czechoslovakia and Austria were seperate events, and Chamberlain said that after Czechoslovakia incident blah blah. The reason the war broke out was Britain and France had treaties with Poland that they decided to honor, Hitler wanted peace with both, not to conquer them. Sure, he wanted to invade them, but only AFTER they declared war on Germany.
