I have a silver car as well. Usually it would have a ton of swirls by now, (age, washing) but I think there is something about silver where it does a great job hiding swirls.
is it the same when u just use finish polish to bring back the shine??cause i have a 2003 dodge ram and its silver and it dosent have any swirls i think it is becuae its silver but i juts want to bring the shine back
if you watch closely the polish will start to haze over or look lighter than when you started, depneding on how fast you go this could take anywhere from 3-5 minutes. Also when you do this a lot you will just "know" when its done.
Yes, the Festool Rotex RO150 is a great machine, but for ~$500 it's not the best machine for an enthusiast who will only use it a few times a year.
As far as the PC being a "toy", I've been able to do some major paint correction with this toy. Grant it, the PC is not the fastest at paint correction, because you sacrifice speed for safety, but I've been able to remove the majority of paint defects with it.
what pad and size are you using?
