  • LOVE 2:05!!!

  • Sad and hilarious at the same time...

  • love the song, love the series...LOVE IT :)

  • 250 likes, 0 dislikes... fuck yeah!

  • Throughout that whole episode, Dr. Cox was trying his best to help but just didn't know how to deal with it. It's good to know that he would be there if JD ever needed him through a serious crisis like getting through someone's death and grief and we all know JD does his best for Dr. Cox. I love that whole father and son relationship they have.

  • cause Dr. Cox love the red wings and i guess he was trying to help JD might as well lookat him like a man lol

  • He pretends to like it. He says it during a season 9 episode

  • i thought JD didnt drink beer

  • @rustonh316 he didnt ;D but , sometimes he do ;) He dont likes to drink beer but , sometimes :D

  • love scrubs incredibly, but if they are watchin football, y are they wearing hockey jerseys?

  • does anyone known the alternate song from this episode found on the DVD?

  • REST IN PEACE JOHN RITTER.

  • Does anyone know the song at the end of My Cake on DVD? They are different.

  • This... This is Manlyness on high level...

  • I know this is the main part of the ending, but that has to be one of the greatest carla/turk moments, You can just feel your heart warm up a bit

  • is JD wearing Dr. Cox's Chelios shirt?

  • That's the mark of good comedy: being able to deliver the laughs while maintaining a heart.

  • Cox...proud of N00bie? OMG

  • We still Laugh and John Ritters Jokes, RIP.

He was a great man, and a great comedian.

  • Why are they watching football wearing hockey jerseys!!!!

  • @Feckel523 its like THE only jersey cox ever owns ever

  • O my... JD got dr Cox to laugh, now that's strange.

  • @Remoniq that's strange, cox said he was proud of JD, how bout that

  • wtf i just watch all the season and i dont remember any of this :(

  • I love how their all wearing hockey jerseys, and watch college football

  • "Thank you, 'Football For Dummies'"

  • who is john ritter?

  • @EspaniaBerserk dude seriously?

    he plays jd's dad...

he was also the guy on threes company and 8 is enough

  • @YoshikazeCanti and by 8 is enough, you mean 8 simple rules (for dating my tennage daughter), right?

  • @YoshikazeCanti

    oh, okay. Ty

  • @YoshikazeCanti He's not very big over here in the UK but I remember him primarily as being the scary robot Ted in the episode of the same name on Buffy. Also on 8 Simple Rules and of course Scrubs. He seemed like a funny guy and talented actor.

  • @EspaniaBerserk John Ritter is the person who plays the father Paul Henassey in 8 simple rules

  • R.I.P.John Ritter

  • I'm becoming a nurse and watched this show through my previous degree and working as a psw and I have to say that this show will always resonate with me and the things in my life and career.

  • I love John Ritter. And Scrubs.

So glad the two collided. =]

  • god I love this song. Hawskley workman rocks.

  • this made me cry :*(

  • This clip made me start cyring 3 times! iT's wonderful!

  • i think because, even though hes potrayed as a scary evil guy, hes actually ver caring when he wants to be, which is why i think people gravitate towards him :)

  • not sad but a good tribute to john

  • They did follow on how Mr. Ritter died, in the latter episodes with Mathew Perry, JD actually says how Ritter died.

  • i thought ud dissolved! bahaha! second best scrubs line afta "u mean y is there silverware in the pancake draw?"

  • "i thought you dissolved" one of my favourite jokes from scrubs xD

  • rumor is that John McGinley is neighbors with the Chris Chelios. thats why in the episodes where perry wears a hockey jersey its alwas the Red Wings and Chris Chelios' number

  • Thank you football for dumbies.

  • Wow...the look, Turk gave Carla in the end when she shows himn the diabetes box..that's so awesome!*.*

  • THROW THE BALL YOU JACKASS!!! =P

  • He is a jackass!!

  • Comment removed

  • Why didn't they have them watch a hockey game...

  • RIP John Ritter.

And I want someone like Carla.

  • Bite me Chutiya!

  • fatcaterpillar11 = ignorant muppet

  • never actually saw the end of that episode and didnt know that john ritter had actually died!

  • He died irl? =/ AAAaagh

  • Oh if you saw the episode that is a tribute to John Ritter on "8 simple Rule", you will be tearing up. It is so sad.

  • Best scene in Scrubs history in my opinion. Music fits perfectly with the actors outstanding performances and makes a breath-taking experience

  • Its good, but I think My Lunch and My Screw Up endings are better.

  • "...but you, your lucky you got positive stuff you can dwell on

THROW, THE BALL, YOU JACKASS!" - Cox

"He is a jackass..." - Dan

    *clink!

    LOL xD

  • Amazing scene. Every actor did a wonderful job (especially Dr. Cox and the Turks).

  • GO RED WINGS!!!!!!! lol

  • i hate how they can make a random patient die and the episode is really sad, but when the main characters father dies he doesnt really cry, and the episode isnt as deep as the others? wtf?

    anyways gotta love scrubs!

  • I don't agree with that completely. Whilst he doesn't cry or become incredibly emotional, this is still a very deep and touching episode. It's a very different kind of mourning; more of a celebration of someone's life really.

Besides, John Ritter doesn't seem like the type who would want to be remembered by crying instead of laughing.

  • 2:07 That look just spells out that he loves her :D

  • thank you footballs for dummies

  • "I thought you desolved!"

  • @EmtyThe1st

    Dissolved =D

  • i already miss this show :(

  • im gonna miss this show

  • they announced they're making a new sequel with JD being a guest star

  • you serious? who an what would the sequel be about?

  • they say its gonna be about the new interns but most of the characters will be there even JD for a few guest appearances

  • Yeah, i won't lie, my eyes watered in this one. Love scrubs soo much.

  • "You know that's the worst thing about college football, the male cheerleaders....Oh God, that's a chick"

    ...

"...positive stuff. THROW THE BALL YOU JACKASS!"

    ROFL

  • this is an awesome show because it has a fantastic sad ending and the song goes well with the mood

  • "I thought you dissolved" lmao

  • I'm sorry for the 'Wash Me' thing!

    I love this episode.

  • you got some positive stuff going on

    THROW THE BALL YOU JACKASS

  • One of the many endings to make me cry....or at least on the verge of!

  • Screw "on the verge", it gets me every time lol

  • haha i TRY to force it away...but sometimes you just have to let it out! lol

  • Better out than in, eh? *blows nose noisily* Ah, much better ;;

  • man i love and hate the scrubs ending love them cause their awesome and hate them cause its the end of the show

  • one of my favorite scrubs moments

    thanks for uploading!

  • when someone says they are proud of you it can really change your attitude

  • 0:01 - feels so sorry for J.D. in this moment

  • "thank you football for dummies" rofl

  • throw the ball you jackass. he stole that from me on every Saturday and Sunday.

  • "You went out with him , i though you dissolved"

  • wats the song called ?

  • its called 'Stop Joking Around', by Hawksley Workman

  • thats duke vs. gt on the t.v. right?

  • Nice one ...

  • John Ritter's impact on American culture lives on. People are still mourning his death. This episode was outstanding.

  • rip john ritter

  • God I love this episode and specially this clip<3

Are they wearing hockey shirts and watching football?

  • yes they r wearing the best team in the NHL jerseys...

  • ...For anybody into Big Ten football... That's Brett Basanez... from Braff's alma mater... Cox called Basanez a "jackass"...

I'm gonna kill him. GO 'CATS

  • whoever can guess what the title of this episodes reminds me of will win a cookie (or a cake, rather *hint hint*)

  • its called my cake, season four, ep.6

  • "Oh god, that's a chick."

    haha!

  • they always pick the best songs to bring out emotions i love it!!

  • I like how they have a song at the end of every episode but also capturing the mood of the moment

  • I thought you dissolved!

    XD

  • "i thought u desolved!"lol

  • aaaaaaaaaaaw :D

  • THROW THE BALL, YOU JACKASS!

  • Love this episode

  • whats that song called? playin in the background?

  • Stop Joking Around by Hawksley Workman =)

  • 'Stop Joking Around', by Hawksley Workman

  • Definitely one of the best Scrubs moments.

  • This song is replaced by Jeremy Kay's "Wine and Roses" on the iTunes version. I'm not sure if it is also on the DVD version. It creates a completely different mood than "Stop Joking Around."

  • what a great episode- thx!!!

and thx to john ritter for so many laughs!!!

  • My Screw-up>My Lunch>My Occurence>My Cake

  • whats the song called here at the end?

  • Jeremy Kay's "Wine and Roses"

  • that and the episode Ben died were the saddest and greatest episodes on Scrubs

  • my Lunch is pretty sad, too !

  • it was

  • and My Screw Up. really sad.

  • Your forgeting My Long Goodbye.

  • very true

  • second best after my lunch

  • Best episode ever made. No doubt

  • he died?

  • his death was a sad sad thing but created probably the greatest jd/brother/dr.cox moment ever

    RIP John Ritter
