How to Change the Screen Resolution in Windows 7

i,ve installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit version ... and it's pretty good..but i have a problem with screen resolution ....

Every time when i Log Off or switch another user automatically change the screen resolution from 1440x900 to 1024x768... plss help me ... thanks a lot :)

my screen resolution is set to high 1920 * 1080p but for some reason my screen doesn't fit into the size of my monitor, giving me a black outer frame, can someone help me fix this problem?

@MrYosef425 hey i fixed my problem, i download a program called 'AMD radeon catalyst software' you can adjust the screen size and other monitor issues using this aplication :D it might work for you too

When I installed windows 7 I only have one set screen resolution and it won't change it 640 x 480 and I can't change it and it's on generic PnP monitor on standard VGA graphics adaptor plz help

But my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 and its usually that but it wont let me go any higher then 1440 x 900 I had it 1920 x 1080, my screen is exactly 1920 x 1080 and usually at that but wont let me do it anymore :(

hey how do i fix my resolution if i cant see? i maxed my resolution and my monitor couldnt support it so i waited 10 seconds for it to reset it wasnt enough seconds to auto reset so i shut off my comp worriedly and now when i reset it my monitor goes to unsupported mode. and safe mode didnt fix it and idk what button is the boot menu to get into vga mode f8 didnt work. can i fix this using command prompt or do i have to reformat harddrive i was told i dont have too

help!! i recently just upgraded my windows vista to windows 7 and the screen is really big and my mouse is pretty big too and when i try this i only get

1024x768 and 800x600 but 1024x768 still makes the screen and cursor big and cant make it any smaller. i had no issues in windows vista either tho please some one help

I have a problem...yesterday I instaled some updates for Windows 7 and when the system restarted my screen was desturbed (letters have become bllury, also resolution become low and screen become wide)...do u know how to default it ?? Sorry for bad english
