@allgood2000 I have a ? Is the road the tunnels on US Hwy 20,14, & 16 or SR 296 ? Those are the only 2 roads I have seen on a map that lead into yellowstone from Cody.
@michaelisbell there are 3 tunnels there. 2 short and one very long one. once out of the tunnels it is a 2 lane highway that goes directly to the east entrance of Yellowstone Park.
@ILovestorms Yes, and we don't know what other crimes she may have been involved in. The car and the guns were stolen, so this probably wasn't the first crime that the suspects had committed.
I agree. But with all new episodes from this decade. They could bring back a much older (and wider William Shatner) :) He'd be back doing a "reputable" job instead of those god awful PRICELINE commercials! :)
god man i know i sound heartless but those assholes that killed the man and shoot at the officers should have died no matter if it was a shootout or the death penalty poeple like that dont deserve to live
They couldnt fire back....like one of them says when they fire they have to worry were that bullet will hit. If a shot were to miss the suspect vehicle then it could riccochet off of something and possibly come back at the police
I've been to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It's a nice place to see wildlife, waterfalls, mountains, lakes, rivers, and the interesting volcanic activity including Old Faithful.
I lived there during it I now live 30 miles up the road bad renactment though if you look most of the chse they are driving up and down the same road and where they say they are they are not
Look how nice the cops are! In this day and age cursing, beating and the such would have been undertaken almost immediately. I realize its a show but I can relate that the cops from the 80's and 90's were alot more polite then the ones today. (mostly not their fault as the training system is different now and criminals are more aggressive and numerous.) just my opinion.
You are right. Back then, the cops were nice to people and never abuse no suspect plus they were shinny then. But now today they're becoming bad cops, they're fat and they go brutality a suspect.
Let's not forget that in a place like Wyoming, it tends to be somewhat of a laid-back society, in contrast to more urban areas. So the insouciance associated with it is probably instilled in the personality of the civilians and authorities. Incidents like this are probably rare where this occured.
Now if this happened in say, L.A. or New York for instance, I'm sure they'd be a lot more aggressive.
You got to hand it to them- it's very rare today to see police working together this long and this hard to catch a criminal. Where I live, the police don't follow up on half the murders, because they're Katrina/drug related, and it's frivolous to pursue the case, as they'll probably end up dead soon anyway. Many see it as a cleansing process. But I wish they would work like these officers did.
I don't know a lot about police procedure, but from watching TV it seems to be against most departments' policies to fire a gun from a moving vehicle. Plus, as they said, the street was lined with houses and there were probably other vehicles on the road. All the 30-minute syndicated episodes were edited when they were re-formatted for syndication, Hallmark and DHC had nothing to do with it. There were a couple of cuts that I did notice DHC/Hallmark making though. In the episode where the woman crashed and impaled her neck on a fence post, DHC cut out a good two minutes. And in an episode where a man follows a bank robber in his car, Hallmark cut a scene out (that one didn't air in DHC.
Not that I know of, but I haven't checked in a while. There are usually some obscure European and Asian channels that show it in syndication, but I don't know of any U.S. Channels.

1. That dispatcher deserves a frickin medal
2. Why not kill your lights while slow-pursuing suspects who are trying to kill you?
3. "Quick, take cover!!!!!!!" Way to announce your arrival, dumbass

I hope that the suspect who fired the gun in the bar was sentenced to at least life in prison if not capital punishment.
