I drove from Peterborough, Ontario to Vancouver B.C. in a weeks time for a wedding. It was totally doable, just make sure you have two drivers, it helps.

Also, make sure you stop in Alberta to go horseback riding. Awesome stuff.

OH, and enjoy the scenery while driving through the prairies...and by enjoy it, I mean you'll be bored as HELL by the second day of flat unchanging land.

But really, enjoy the scenery once you hit Alberta, that is where the fun begins :)
