What band? The Jupiter Hymn is for a big orchestra. Nothing else. By the way, a quite good performance I heard at the WMC in Kerkrade (Holland) from a german orchestra.

@piThomaspi "jupiter hymn" is an arrangement for wind ensemble. "jupiter, the bringer of jollity" is the original holst version for orchresta, the one you are thinking of.

@HHSTuba Sorry, if I wrote ambiguous, but I meant no classical orchestra, but a brass orchestra/wind ensemble so I still go along with you ;)

I thought I would be clear, because I talked in the next sentence about the World Music Contest in Kerkrade, the most important international festival of brass music. but also it´s written for a brass orchestra the score requires a large number of brass instrumentalist
