this song is sad just becouse it reminds me of the last awesome megaman game! X6 has been the best and what came after it was quite disappointing to me...I wish I could play still play good games like the X series, in someway I hate modern games, they do not have the same fun of the old ones. they are awesome to watch but they are nothing more than a movie, once finished the fun is over, while I keep playing X6 still now and still gives me so much fun!

oh, this version hasn't the guitar sound, it's quite strange, i got my game in english with japanese voice acting and some extra tracks, X6 was the best Megaman X of them all as everything was so chaotic and things, i mean, poor mavercik hunters, half of the world was really fucked and the nightmare virus was taking over it, zero was missing and infected with his own version of the virus, and the worst part is that, as always, Sigma was behind everything

I loved how the game opens... You pop it in, start the first stage and BAM! Orchestral style music in your Megaman game. Of course, it's still a bit electronic. While it's still the same gameplay, the game felt a lot different that x4 and x5... it was overall a bit more darker I guess.

@MichaelCox The models of all 2D Megaman games are mirrored when you switch the character position, so we can't tell in wich hand the buster would be correctly placed. But, if I remember well, in all the pictures and concept arts, even in the 3D games, X uses his Buster in his right hand.

@MichaelCox He uses both hands. Both can turn into busters, apparently. In MMX2 with the buster upgrade he fired charge shots from both. I know Zero's could, in MMX2 and 3. He used both to fire charge shots before using the saber. When it comes to using the saber though, seems Zero is right handed. Dunno 'bout X. Never really payed attention.

Sorry But I have to disagree entirely with you. In my opinion X6 had some excellent tunes. As for the best game in the series, my vote go's to X2. That is not only my favorite in the series but my favorite video game. So you can imagine how ticked I get when someone says X6 is the best in the series lol!

I really enjoyed X2, too. Fighting the X hunters was great, specially Agile. The Zero fight was awesome, but Sigma was annoying.

X6 had some kind of style that made me love it. It has basically the coolest armors, and very good stages.

The reploid rescuing thing was VERY annoying, though. I am sure you agree with me on this one. But believe me, once that's over with, it's incredibly fun and fast paced most of the time.

But yeah, it's all opinion. =D

Please realize that the creator had nothing to do with this game, that's why whenever I play it compared to the other 2-D X games, it feels really weird. Even the creator admitted that X5 was supposed to be the last one. Think about it; the music, awesome gameplay, and the storyline, especially the ending for Zero.

Megaman X6 was criticized for a lot of things. However I believe X6 has the best soundtrack of any Megaman X game. The music theme of the game had the best music to help portray it, and every stage gives a feel of hope and reclaim.
