This is NOT samba!! ballroom dancing that's all it is.This dance you see is in Argentina and Spain as well.There is Tango,Flamingo,and Salsa in international ballroom dancing.But this is not Samba.Might want to change the title to this video.

I have dance Samba on the streets during festivals and I can assure you that if you try the ballroom Samba in a competition in Brazil people will laugh. Sad but true.

you can call this dance anything, but this is NOT samba. I am Brazilian and Samba is a typical rhythm and this dance has nothing to do with that. This is some sort Caribbean dance. NOT Samba.
I guess after watching some of the videos of "Brazilian samba" they should rename it, because what they're doing here is ten times better than the "Brazilian Samba" I've seen posted on YouTube and even in Brazil! She and he have better body movement and sense of direction than you'll see in those videos.

@anonymous10001000 Like I said, I'm not here to argue. I'm here just to troll you ^_^. If you see in most Ballroom "Samba" videos, people don't really have to convince that it is Samba. Most are just there to tell Brazillian to shut up. The more they sprout about Samba in a Ballroom Samba video, the more they lower the IQ of the whole Internet, which is arguably quite low already. So that's amazing ^_^!

seravi.... I know this is International Ballroom Samba... and if it was originated in Brazil they changed EVERY SINGLE step. This is not thing inthis dance like Brazilian Ballroom samba. Our samba is more like Argentine Tango. PS Argentine tango has nothing to do with International Ballroom Tango either...

This dance should be called something else.. same as the ballroom tango taht has nothing to do with the Argentine tango??? WHY use the same names if the dance has NOTHING to do with the traditional dance??? The music is NOT samba at all.
