Sorry, dumbass. these guys were POST- Nice/ELP, etc. They were the next class of rock organ trios. Actually, roughly the exact same time as ELP, but post-The Nice, who established this sound.

ELP and Quatermass both date back to 1969
The Nice dates back to 1967
"1967 The Nice The Thoughts of Emerlist Davjack"
The Nice broke up in 1970 and temporarely came together again in 2002
Ofcourse Quatermass is great. I had this album back in 1971
