@hernandez17blood cant do much since the fan is on the side... this is where you would put the window... you can put a half window and some LEDs in it (above the xbox fan)
@BCMods i first traced the circle with a driniking glass that was about the right size... then just used a dremel tool with a drill bit to cut it out.

have you tried putting your stock fans back in?... you could have fried one of your fan controllers on the mobo.... there are 2 fan controllers.... 1 on the top and 1 on bottom. 1 controls the gpu fan and 1 for the cpu. This happend to a xbox i was fixing .... had to purchase fans that didnt use the fan power source. Like the whisper max and the xcm high speed air cooler.
@lax789 i used the talismoon aurora leds, and they came with a Y splitter for the fan power source. It works just fine. The desk is from copenhagen. Its a black tempered glass desk. Its very nice when its clean!
hi im back sorry but i have a problem with my moon fan. i bot just a whisper fan not no max or lagacy. so one side was broken but soon worked cause my neighbor fixed it. the strengh of the moon fan is still as strong as the stock fan... i also have smart led storm v2 so do u think its the reason y the fans not working properly or u think the fans damaged? after a hour of play i felt the bottom of my xbox and its very hot also i had a seperate peice with the fan which was very hard to connect...
@TheYomamaLandon sounds like a defective fan, send it back and get a new one. ive had a whisper fan in my box for awhile and its stays far cooler than the standard fan.

@TheYomamaLandon the xbox is gonna get hot no matter what... unless you have a good water cool system... the regular whisper fans, are almost no different than the stock fans... they push a little more air... but not much more.... thats why i used the wisper MAX fans... they push much more air but are loud. but i play with a headset so i dont hear them anyway

Ah. Gotcha..I have figured that out now based no some other things I've read. Decided to just remove my DVD drive and put it in an enclosure..and mount an internal 120mm fan (as this alone drops my temps by 10-15 degrees)
How did you get that fan to fit there? I am new to modding but quickly learned there is no room for fans (unless you use 60mm or smaller and/or remove the dvd drive. My current box is ugly..I have fans outside the case but planning to get a new shell and do something diff.
@NewYears1978 It will only work with the old CPU heatsink (copper)... newer heatsink is to big. You would have to use a smaller fan 40 to 50 mm or the V.2 cooler

@TheYomamaLandon Yes they will...... that is assuming that you meant the "whisper" fans and NOT the "whisper MAX" fans.... The whisper fans use the existing fan power source..... the whisper MAX fans use the DVD drive power source.
so if you get the Smart LED storm 360 v2 (which uses the DVD power) and the whisper fans(which use the Fan power) You should be good
@JIAK2 i used Plexi (purchased at Home Depot) for the window in the fan shroud and for the window on the top of the xbox..... for the air vent i used "Modders Mesh" if you google it, there is a bunch to choose from
Have you, or anyone else you know that mods, had any problems with drawing extra power from the PSU? I was thinking about upgrading my PSU as I add mods to my case but not sure if it's really necessary. Nice job, btw.

Modding the LEDs is easy, it's figuring out where to place them. I have 10 red LEDS on mine, on the sides, I might switch them around or something. Nice job.
@19SamMan98 The Wisper max I always leave on turbo mode so i just left it hooked up to the DVD power.... the leds on the sides are plugged into the fan power using an included adapter.. the front XCM v.1 fan, i stripped off the 2 pin plug and piggybacked on the LEDs plug
@lilbaster The front fan is the v1 cooler, and that is plugged into the dvd rom power. The wisper and aurora are plugged into the fan power. The aurora comes with an adapter that is used to plug the whispers into. The core cooler v1 comes with one as well.
