american airlines sucks....they always change the gates in dallas because of maitanence issues...and they are never on time...they also have some of the oldest junkiet planes in the industry....fly southwest

@McSwagger830 i fly american airlines all the time and my planes are always on time unless for obvious reasons such as airport delays because of storms or whatever. they never change the gates in new york.....i flew southwest once from new york to arizona...i'll never do that again. their service was shitty, the crew was rude, it was just an overall unenjoyable flight. AMERICAN AIRLINES FTW.

@McSwagger830 old aircraft means nothing... they maintain their aircrafts in better conditions than Southwest Airlines, which is the REASON why back in 2008 AA had to ground it's MD-80 fleet because Southwest didn't maintain their maintenance records. Not to mention the recent account on WN's part with holes in their aircrafts. And on-time... well depends on the airport. AA operates out of some of the worlds busiest airports, WN doesn't. That's also a factor.

probably because he didn't need it :) Runways at ORD is pretty long, and it's a possibility he was instructed by the tower to keep his speed up to a certain taxiway
