As they had treated Frank in the first film. Franks being ripped alive continued on in Hell..just as this man's demise will continue there as well. The film I agree is not good, but he did attempt to open the box. So did Kirsty, and the Cenobites visited her in the hospital as well.

I think they got carried away with slasher films of the time. In hellbound heart and the hellraiser movie the cenobites where intelligent and ruthless.but not senselessly killing. Which i think made them creepier.Now they have cheesy one liners..and no personality.

I agree with u Hawdkoah. What did happen to the way Pinhead used to speak? I remember Pinhead being very dignified in the way he spoke which was one of his memorable trademarks, but now for some reason it seems like they want to lighten him up, which is totally unnecessary. Hopefully if another Hellraiser movie comes out, they'll have him as "vintage" Pinhead.

In the REAL Hellraiser films - not this piece of shit - the Cenobites don't KILL.

If you open the puzzle box, they come, use their chains to rip you apart both physically and spiritually, and take you to the Labyrinth, which is an industrial Hell, where you're constantly taken to the extremes of pain and pleasure for eternity. Those who don't open the box are spared.

For the later films, they dropped that idea just to give Pinhead a higher body count.

The cenobite with it's mouth stretched open by wires is Chatterer III and the one with the leather bands over it's face is Bound II. The two and three mean that they're a variation of a particular cenobite/s. This Chatterer looks significantly different from the original due to the costume consisting of recycled parts and the original Bound is female.

I know it's just a movie and they couldn't make time lapse as much as a book could but the Hellbound Heart made it sound like the Lament Configuration was a difficult and obtuse puzzle that took a little longer to solve. It wasn't press a button and the cenobites come. Like I said, maybe they just made it seem easy (very easy) because it's a movie and they couldn't show Lance spending days or nights with it.
