2. There's one head-scatcher in the beginning: How in the world they ask us to believe that gorgeous young Darryl Hickman would end up looking like ugly Van Heflin is beyond me. However, the kids playing Martha and Walter are both good representations of their adult counterparts.
@rem2267 Like your post except I don't agree with you assessment of Van Heflin looks.While I would concede he wasn't 'leading man good-looking' he certainly had the rugged good look & is a long way from ugly. I did like the rest of what you had to say,I even liked 'Bundles',(cat) myself!! I also own a couple of copies of this,in case I wear one out. (Also while Barbara is pretty,I would've jumped over her to get to Lizabeth!)
I used to watch these wonderful vintage movies so much that when my son was a baby and saw one coming on television he would scream "Mommy....here's one of your shows" Grew up watching and this is particularly fantastic. Love it!
Love Lizbeth Scott she was one hot lesbian (but she couldn't come out during the time she worked in Hollywood). The gossip columns used to insinuate that about her. One of her greatest films is 'No Time for Tears'.
