Actually, I want to send you a PM but since I don't want to spam comments on this vid but YouTube keep changing their stuff with these horrible layouts and I don't know how to do it anymore.
Btw, do you speak Japanese? You pronounce "Konnichiwa" very well just like us.
@TheLaLaLight If you mean the first ep, then I have a review of that. But if you mean my thoughts on the stroy so far, then here it is in summary: "it reminds me of AnoHana and Onegai Teacher all in one."AnoHana because of the five main characters' love pentagon (that's how I can describe it), this is of course disregarding Lemon, because she's a class all on her own. Onegai Teacher because of the premise, and episode 4 is a testament to that. I'm enjoying it nonetheless.
@TheLaLaLight I think most guys would really like the anime though since Kaito looks like someone most guys can relate to. These are just assumptions, of course, since I'm a girl.
@WhatShiSaid I guess I'll have to check Un-Go and No.6 someday. AnoHana was really good sis. There's a lot of fans recording their live reactions while watching the final episode. A lot of crybabies...
@TheLaLaLight Ack! No, I haven't! But I think I'll watch it... I just looked up the summary, and the story seems interesting. I think the reason for my not picking it up last year, was the art. The art gives a moe feel and ecchi.
To be honest, I find Inu x Boku pretty boring. The artwork is mediocre and it's way too slow paced. It has some funny moments and that's really it. However, I like Riri 'cuz she reminds me of Kuroneko from Oreimo.
@TheLaLaLight I have to agree with the art. It's really disappointing. And at this point in the anime, I'm not even sure if I want to continue watching it. I'm curious about the new character, but the humor is becoming repetitive. It was the only redeeming thing in the anime too.
@WhatShiSaid Well, I kind of like the Romance genre too, so I was interested in it. The characters looked really cute too. It was a cute, innocent anime for the most part. Which was fine, just not something that I'll think of as a favorite. Occult Academy I haven't seen though. Knowing me, I might eventually watch it. Though, there are many things I am prioritizing at the moment. Between Clannad, Evangelion, Bakemonogatari, Kuroshitsuji and all these ongoig ones.
@MaikeruShinigami Oh! I know what you mean! I didn't actually watch Mashiroiro (because it's based on a VN, so I thought I wouldn't like it) but I do have something like that: Occult Academy. Gosh! That anime just went from awesome to what the heck! I just finished the series because I thought the whole thing was a big joke! But then it was apparently serious. lol
A big reason that I finished it though is just because I was thinking maybe it would have the twist. After being somewhat let down with episodes 8-10, I just decided that it would turn out predictable and didn't expect anything from the last couple episodes. While I was decently entertained, I felt it fell short of what it could have been. Though I still love a few of the characters, even if they wound out not getting much time in the end. I feel I will enjoy this series though. It has humor.
@WhatShiSaid Hmm, the comment isn't letting me do a direct reply, I wonder if it'll work this way too.
I definitely agree. While I'm normally not the the type to just hate an anime, I have had a couple that I wound out just losing interest in half way and then just didn't watch afterwards. Then I've had others that disappointed me but I really liked to start off and kept watching thinking there might be a twist. Mashiro-Iro was the anime like that for me last season, though I still finished it.
@MaikeruShinigami I have to agree. This definitely is the kind of anime which should be judged after the whole series is done airing. I Think it could become really good, or go down the drain depending on how it's going to develop. As I said in the video, it has a lot of leeway to develop, but because of that, it also has a lot of risk to go down a path which people (including myself) wouldn't like.
I'm pretty much the same. I'm not as super excited for the next episode as I am for a couple other animes this season. I didn't get much more than I expected, except that it actually made me laugh a couple of times. The characters seem fairly interesting so far, but I'll have to wait and see how they grow. Overall, I'll have to watch a few more episodes before ranking it.
Oh, I'll go check that vid.

Haganai was really great. Sure, a lot of ecchi stuff but it was really hilarious.
What was your top 3 animus of 2011?
My picks are
3. Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
2. AnoHana
1. Haganai / Steins;Gate (I can't pick one lol I love 'em both)
TheLaLaLight 1 month ago
@TheLaLaLight hhmmm There were quite a lot of animes I liked. I guess if I have to choose a top 3, they would be:
3.) Un-Go
2.) Steins;Gate (Only because I have a problem with the time-space continuum at the end, if not, it would be my no. 1)
1.) No. 6

@TheLaLaLight haha! I've actually watched AnoHana already. It was really touching, story-wise though.

@WhatShiSaid
I don't recommend you checking those live reactions if you havn't watched the anime yet.

Btw, did you watch Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai? That was the best anime of the 2011 IMO.
