As someone who goes to his local Harkins' cinemas at least once a month, I LOATHE upselling. I always tell the clerks. "This is what I want..no suggestive selling and no upselling." Works for me.

shit, at my carmike we no longer have free refills on the large (its now a dollar for each the large drink and large popcorn) and our small popcorn is $5.25, medium is $6.50, and large is $7.50

dont forget all the girls who come in packs and giggle at the end of everyfriggin sentence. or the people who dont tell you what candy they want but rather just point at the glass. Or the people who say no to a combo rightaway but end up asking for one anyways lol

carmike got rid of th 16 oz small with one that is closer to the size of the courtesy cup and jacked up the prices where they make almost 50 times more then what they sell it for
