Ideon Gun's base power is 9999, mugen punch is like 4100. And the entire point of Ideon is to let its HP go critical so you can use the MAPW versions and go 150,000 damage to every enemy on the map. That's why it has the Ide barrier.

I like the F Final version of Ideon better. It made me hesistant to utilize it in battle. It was at least a broken power. In Alpha 3 they messed up as using it became way too easy in my opinion as there was no more hesitation.
