  • this is sooooo good!

  • how did u count those fast notes?

  • nice...how long have you been playing the piano?

  • what type of piano have you got? and OMG thats a grade 7 piece and you're eleven!!

  • I am in love with you.

  • Complety wrong..wicked musical expression..no dynamics...no difference between subjects....very strong left hand

  • Thanks so much for posting this I really needed to learn the tempo of this piece now I can play it nearly as well as you. I have another week to get it right. So I will keep watching . :) :) !!!!!

  • @barryDublin thank you very much. Benedetta

  • I'm Trying to Learn this song right now, Any Tips?

  • Pretty good. Be sure to pay attention to the slurs! There there for a reason, the piece absolutely requires that you play them, and you are not. Be sure to create a slight seperation in the notes after the slurs. I hope your teacher has told you this.

    Keep up the good work!

  • very nice. Mozart was something eh ? He probably woke up one morning and ripped that out in one go. Or perhaps wrote it down first, who knows..but bravo on that rendition.

  • me gusto mucho!!

  • Muy bien excelente ejecucion

  • just WOW

  • how much time it took you to learn this?

  • @amiiton it took me about 2 mounths :)

  • お上手ですね!

  • That is very nice and aaaaa trully admirable!

  • Ottimo

  • marvelous! but i do agree with those guys who told her to work on expression and dynamics. hey can you guys give me tips on how to improve rhythm and sight reading?? ive been taking czerny and bach first lessons as of the moment.

  • Good start. Need to work on dynamics cuz without it you dont sonud very good. Have some flexibility in your hands, make it lively.

Otherwise keep up the good work! :D

  • Very nice, but no dynamics

  • u should see emily bear, she is why i started playing the piano. :) love u Emily!!

  • Clapclapclapclapclapclapclapclapclapclapclapclapclapclap!!! Reeeaaalllyy nice!!! tks

  • you played amazing! i'm playing this song right now at a competition..

  • Ma sei bravissima!! :D

  • You are a great performer!

  • Great job, you've inspired me to learn this piece. I love the way you played :41 - :47, well done.

  • bravissima!!!

  • esagerato! io nn raggiungo nemmeno la meta di questa velocità ! XD

  • You did very nice. But now that you have the notes which is good. I think you should add dynamics and phrasing. It will put the icing on the cake!

  • hey you should study this piece more and more and more and more..... there's no dynamic in your play, everything is "forte". mozart is more "piano and leggero" then everything... that's not the way...other thing, you should use a metronomus to keep you away from accelerating or retarding in some parts, which happened a lot!!! hope you take this advive.

  • beautiful! Splendid job!

  • OH!... impresioante!.. quieres casarte conmigo reina?

  • WTF

  • Beautiful! *****

  • très bon, manque de fluidité par endroits mais très bonne maîtrise du texte musical.

  • wow your hottt :)

    homme runn

  • She's 11. And does this comment really belong here regardless?

  • creeeeeperrrr

  • Beautifully played! The tempo was nice and even, rapid speed with no errors! You can obviously OUT play all of these envious, stupid critics on YouTube. These morons with no talent always come on these videos to complain, moan, and critique those WITH talent. They are green with envy and every time you hear complaints, smile because that only means you played it so lovely that they cannot appreciate it because of their pathetic low self-image due to their inability to even read a note. lol

  • technically perfect :)

Seems kinda too fast tho. without the musicality. just kinda dull at that part.

but you did a brilliant job playing it and you definitely have a lot of talent. I'd be so happy to be able to play the piece that fast...

but if I were you, I'd worked just a bit more on the dynamics... and maybe a little bit of expression of yourself wouldn't hurt... to make it special the way only YOU, and just you play it :) I think that tempo variations and dynamics are the key for that ^^

  • She is 11 years old you douche

  • 11? Really? O_o

aww man... didn't check the description... :( sorry, I didn't mean to be mean or a know-it-all....... I just wanted to help...

    but 11 O_o wow... That's amazing! :O

  • bbfan77, she's ELEVEN!!! Don't insult her and then try to clean it up with compliments. I don't recall her asking for your advice; especially, since you obviously know NOTHING about classical music. Her teacher can critique her so she doesn't need some beginner like YOU who can't even play this as fast as she is. You are JEAOULS that you can't play it this fast is why you say it's too fast! And she made NO mistakes, and YOU who make many just can't handle it. So read my lips: STFU!!!

  • okay, sorry, I didn't wanna fight... I really just wanted to help...

(and I'm not a beginner or an amateur, I've been playing piano for more than 8 years, I do know about classical music, you know nothing about me so please don't jump to conclusions... I was trying to give some constructive criticism, since it's always helpful and people tend to want it and like it....... )

again I say sorry for making you feel that way, I was trying to be nice... and okay, I won't say another word

  • bbfan77, no problem. I'm sorry I was so hard on you, but there are so many people who just dump all over these brave, wonderful players who spend hours practicing and put so much work and effort to master a piece, and just because it might be less than perfect, they get insulted, cursed out, spat on and it just boils my blood so much that I created this account to fight back for them. It's so unfair that they provide nice music for our enjoyment, and they are under appreciated.

    No prob.

  • I completely agree with you... I admire the people that are able to do that and honestly, I am a bit jealous because I never put my mind into it and accomplished what they did... (but I assume that would be natural)

and just now t I saw a video of a child playing Moonlight sonata a bit too fast and there were some really bad comments about it.... I felt sorry for the kid that had to take the insults and really mad at people who wrote it... it wasn't helpful at all, it was so mean... :(

  • I see no insults.

I hate ignorant people who don't understand the way the art world works. Artists, whether they paint or compose music, strive off of constructive criticism.

  • hahaa hate people like you John .....

Well nice play musicantae like always !! :) wonderfull !!

  • J0hnn3hBoi, you're 28, and a dirtbag and never put your poison hands on a keyboard in your life, you lying sack of "expletive!" You bearly know how to type, let alone play the piano you fool idiot. It's a good thing she' s only 11 because the words I want to use wouldn't be appropriate for an 11 to read!!

  • You played this perfectly, but it sounds sterile. Put some of yourself into each piece you play! Make it your own! You will be a successful pianist by playing each piece the way you played this one, but you will be amazing if you make each piece your own!

  • fun to play on a rainy day? whatever. this is definitely a fine piece of music. and this girl does a fine job of playing it.

  • sea urchin of amazing. of my heart.

  • Comment removed

  • Very good!

  • OMG, beatyful!! I love your style too!

  • Amazing, I love you!

  • Very good,keep it up!

  • (I do not want to "teach" anybody).

There is a problem with the sound dynamic of your recordings. People here blame it on your playing style. Compare the YOUTUBE recording of MITSUKO UCHIDA playing Mozart 545, a professional live recording. First step is switching off the automatic gain control of the camera, or use a separate recording device.

Then experiment with "piano" and "forte".

  • this are fun to play on a rainy day, but not concert hall mettaerial

  • oh yeah? hmm,try watching john chen's version :]

  • wow..that was great :D

  • sexy women nice!!!!!! love ya ~kiss~

  • Hi, you chose a very beautiful piece. And you look technically capable of playing it.

    However,

You need to work a lot on musicality and expression. It's like you play the notes, but not quite bring the music out.

Work on things like dynamics, phrasing, voicing, legato, tempo variations. And most of all, enjoy the music you are playing! let the listener enjoy this wonderful piece of music!

    :)

  • @anon2k considering her age, i say she is actually amasing! ofcourse you are right when saying she need to work on dynamics, phrasing etc. are you a music teatcher?

  • Bravo!!!! :-)

    1000*s

  • Wonderful! =) Thank you for such lovely playing. Mozart certainly created some charming pieces.

  • te salio muy bien,muy lindo che¡¡¡ muchas felicitaciones¡¡¡

  • la mano izquierda está muy forte..

  • parces que estuvieras en una máquina de escribir y no un piano

  • Excellently! Very well done. A beautyfull piece of music and really nice playing. I really enjoy your music. You are great! Thank you for sharing your musical talent. **five*stars**

    No he ninguna prisa.

    That's right.

    I am going on studing.

    thanks.

  • Sorry, recién veo la edad que tienes, discúlpame, eres solo una niña y celebro tu entusiasmo con la música clásica, sigue en esa. Abrazo desde Uruguay

  • you seem to be in a hurry, you, should give music a chance

  • She has a mistake at 12 seconds.

    however, very good!

  • She did very well with playing this quickly..But there's absolutely no expression. No dynamic changes whatsoever, it was all forte/mezzoforte. It was very good for an 11 year old, but anybody can plunk out notes, and with practice, anybody can do it that quickly. The trick is taking that a step further and actually making it music and expressive.

  • TIME : 1.33 IS VERY FAST.. TEMPO ALLEGRO NOT PRESTO =S

I LIKE YOUR PIANO !!! YOUR HANDS ,IT DANCES =p

  • bad piano sound but great skill, its still a 5 :p

  • This wonderful!

  • sei bravissima! la sto studiando anch'io.ciao

  • Sei Benedetta davvero!!! Anche noi che ti possiamo ascoltare.

    Ciao,

    Francesca

  • (coydogroy)<<<<how about shut up she ace and so is the paino

  • the piano sounds HORRIBLE;buy a new one.

  • Very very well done!

    C'mon, give her a break. She's ELEVEN!!!

    I'm 14 and I'm learning the whole sonata for A.Mus. 14, She's 11!

I thought it was brilliant =D

  • Bravo4 5 Stars

  • right, the tempo is uneven. the 1/4 are a bit too slow, the 1/16 definitely too fast (almost Glenn Gould speed ;-)

but this surely is one of the "nasty" sonatas. it´s quite difficult to create the Mozartian flow.

one good hint is: Mozart composed this on harpsichord, so you as interpreter should try to use no power from arms/shoulders/back, but only the fingers. try this to understand why it is so difficult to play. but once you learned it: great!

nevertheless: your try is a fine starting point.

  • good comment!

  • should it be so fast?? i play it slower... much slower...

  • Yes, it's so fast. Didn't u see the notes??

  • But the tempo is a bit uneven, though a great performance:)

  • Where's the trill in measure 43??? Also , some of the stacato parts could be more stacato.

  • Great :) I havent learned anything by Mozart yet. Maby this is a good choice! :)

    Very well played :) 5st

  • Excellent!

  • En verdad que interpretacion, aunque claro esa es una de las unicas piesasde mozart

    que no me gustan.

  • unbelievably sweet.. very very clean and smooth, nice. Never heard it before, but now I want to learn it. thank you for a really special treat.

  • nice!

  • I ma playing this sonata too but you are beeter thean me i like that

  • one obvious thing the left hand is too loud!

  • amirnot , jebo ti pas mater preglasno,da znaš

  • WOW! amazing

  • shewie baby...you should smile after a performance like that...amazing technique and feeling. sure hope you enjoy it as much as i'm sure anybody watching does. extremely well played for your age...hell, for any age.

  • wow you have such a goregeous technique considering your age, how old were you when you started playing? You thinking aboout seriously studying music in the future. You should I'm sure you're already really good

  • Very well executed.... this is the first Mozart sonata I learned when I was about your age.... and I hated it! - From all Mozart sonatas its probably the one I like the least (and I am a huge Mozart fan). But you played it very good :)

  • i can play that song. how old r u??

  • Now I am 12. In this video I was 11. Bye

  • ur the same age as me yay

  • You have very good poise, but you do need to loosen up (: good job though.

  • ^_^ very beautiful performance

  • this was the first mozart sonata i played. proabaly when i was about her age. all i play is mozart now. i think it's easier than choppin, shubert, etc.

  • beautiful :-)

  • Sehr gut!

  • I played this when I was younger. You've done an excellent job. You're very talented!

  • I'm learning this..I die for Piano..You play very well in Piano..Just be happy..:D:D

  • Very well!!! Your touch have crispiness... very well pleyed!!! You are very good, Benedetta!

  • Pretty good. Played WAY too fast. I played this when I was 10 for my recital! ^^ I'm probably going to play it at the Goden Empire/Solo and Ensemble festival for my solo!

Try to loosen up. You're straining too much. If you don't loosen up, you'll get aches and pains from playing. Your trills need some work, but otherwise, this is pretty good.

    ~ Sumi

  • thank you for your comment.can you upload your video of this sonata ?

    i'm curiose to hear you.

    bye bye

    Benedetta

  • Sure. Once I get my hands on a camera and figure out how to use it. Listening to yours again, your notes seem more even then mine... ^^;;

But sure. I'll upload a video of me when I manage to get my hands on a camera.

    ~ Amorpheous

P.S. This is SumizomeYuki, I'm just on my new account.

  • ah.. beata.. io alla scuola civica ,,, ciao

  • hai frequentato il conservatorio??'''?????''''

  • Lo sto frequentando. Sono al quarto anno.

    Ciao

  • haha, wish i could do that. im just learning. :) and im older than her. ....so sad :(

  • nice, but you might want to add some dynamics and phrasing.

  • wonderfull ...

  • well done !!1

  • Well done! Sounds great!

  • Hehe, I love this song and I very much enjoyed your interpretation of the 1st mvt. Nicely done.

  • you should slow down in this song. You can hear yourself racing right? Other than that, pretty good. Also try to loosen your shoulders, your straining them too much and so your hands might hurt when you play too fast. You should also practice more of your trills since they're not working out so well here.

  • Wery well!

  • Well played!

  • Excellent!

  • Wow!!

  • very well played!!!

  • It's wonderful, Benedetta!

  • Bravo, Benedetta!

  • Woooww. Very good! I play this song too but I'm nowhere NEAR as good as that!!!

  • well played, how long have you been taking lessons?

  • I've been taking lessons for about five years. Thanks for comment.

  • Very Good!

  • Thanks for your comment. Benedetta
