Great gospel presentation! Jesus is so good! I would ask you to consider changing the music if not leaving it out all together. Way too tense and loud. Maybe try some shoegaze/post-rock or one of these bands: Page CXVI, Ascend the Hill, Future of Forestry.
Amazing message, but I really think the background music does not do justice to the video. It feel like the music OS projecting a completely different atmosphere than the speaker is projecting. Just my opinion...
Yes. For years I heard moral messages in the Church. The Church should be about salvation, not better living. Yes we reap what we sow, but the spiritual matters are far more important than temporal matters!
Amazing sermon. Doesn't need the music I agree. But if you are making a video maybe you felt the need. Not judging but I thank you for posting this and speading this message. one of the best I have heard. Will stick with me. God Bless.
@dsartain There is an excerpt from the sermon (it has the link to the full sermon in the info); I can't post the link, but just type in "Matt Chandler - Jesus wants the Rose" into youtube search and it will come up.
I was at that conference. You could have done without the building music in the background. His presentation was intense as it was, and I REALLY wouldn't call that a sermon jam. It's like watching a good monologue on the news (or in this case a good sermon) and having the jaws theme in the background (really out of place). I say this in love, the cut moments of the message were good, but the music should just go
Something about putting music behind it that makes it pop. Nevermind arrowdavid's comment. He's welcome to listen to it without music on any of the links to the side, right?
Unconstructive criticism is for the birds. What a powerful sermon it was indeed.
One more thing. Pray for Matt. He's battling brain cancer.

You are physically animated, yet mentally dead. I see you awake but you are not really there. You walk around in a hollow shell. Living a life of mental stagnation. Seeking the comfort of reassuring lies. Your shallow mind, in a church of fools. Living a life of willing ignorance. Never thinking, forever dim. Nothing's more pathetic than a brainless drone. Vicious cycles of lies to cover lies. Just another robot in factory of falsehoods. A hollow puppet controlled by strings.

I am the master of your fear. I am your worst nightmare. I am god's greatest foe. I am the one and only prince of Hell. Futile prayers lead the way to suffering. In the darkest nights where you can not hide. In the deepest woods I watch over you. You'll embrace me while your god is defeated. I shall show you to the euphoria of the pit. Your pleasures will come to reality. I am the master of your world. Shiver from the presence of his dark power. You are now under our command.
Can do without the creepy music

preaching truth with passion- praise God for men like Chandler- whom God has raised up

All I can say is WOW!!!! Lost it at 6:30 "Jesus wants the Rose!!!!"
We need more to get the message across like Chandler does. Maybe the first 32 years of my life wouldn't have been such a sickening waste.

The man without the Spirit does not accept the things of the Spirit for they are spiritually appraised and he cannot understand them!!
God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise.
