I wish Hoke would remove those numbers from the helmets. They're superfluous (because numbers are already on the front and back of the jerseys, as well as on the sleeves) and TOTALLY screw-up the esthetics.
One would think a proud Italian-American would know better. It reminds of those clowns that work in American car companies in which a nice, attractive car is made and then the the idiot among them says, "Let's plaster the name of this wonderful model all over it in the inside and outside!"
1000x better then Mike Barwis! Mike Barwis was a horrible strength coach and now he has his own facility. I feel bad for anyone that works out with him.
@fb3221379 Actually... I played football for 13 years, including 4 years in college. RR failed because he wasn't a good coach and his players were pushed around, always injured and not big enough. That's failure from the Strength & Conditioning coach. I supported RR through his entire tenure until they were destroyed by Ohio State this year and then by Miss. State.
barwis is great for creating athletes..
Wellman is great for making athletes into animals.
i love the old school stuff he does, like tire flips/pulls. bag throws and plate carries. we teach toughness!!!

To me this says it all: We do a lot of traditional exercises. No magical (Barwis) methods, techno-babble, etc.

@jvick9006 The Head coach has the job of getting a good coaching staff. That's why Hoke's been successful.
