i saw him with howie day 8 years ago ... before howie day sold out and left his solo amazing originality behind. Matt literally is the type of person who will sit at his own merch table and talk to you all night. I am so glad he is starting to blow up! He is a GREAT person! GREAT SONG!

no offense, I love Matt's music, but to the person who said "I hope he doesn't sell out"

he left a major label and released Some Mad Hope on an indie label, Vanguard doesn't have the money or power to push artist at radio, etc. they just focus on getting great records by great artists into stores and put less focus on makin stars and having hits.

so as deserving of fame as he is, he's 35 and on an indie label. his chances of John Mayer styled fame are slim

I love all his music. His new album is great, after all every one of his albums are great. I just hope he doesn't sell out because that's what happens with mainstream fame, which is were he is head, artist tend to do that. Lets hope that doesn't happen.
