Just goes to show this man had unbelievable commitment, whether he's punishing or rewarding the audience. I am lost for words. It's enough to make you cry, and I wasn't even there. I have nothing but love and respect for Andy Kaufman. Shame that the greatest people go way before their time.

Hey I found this in a magazine article and I think it's really important to share with andy kaufman fans :)

Bob Zmuba:So we get a cab, we go down [to the Ferry]. And, this didn't get into the movie, but I think it was the greatest moment in Andy's life, 350 people from the night before were standing there waiting for him. He was tearing up. It was unbelievable. Of course he bought a ferry ticket for every one of them and bought them ice cream cones, and wrestled, like, a dozen women on the deck.
