I loved this game when I was a kid, even though it scared me a little. I had no instructions, and never knew what I was doing, so I didn't get very far, but I liked burning the villages.

I can't understand how to mix potions, i don't understand when is GRIND, CUT i think is the first thing on the left, MIX maybe is the one on the right? Please someone can explain me when is heat, mix condense. Thanks.

You can pick up the DOS version. It was called Dragon Lord. Google for that name plus abandonware and you will find it still.

God I sucked at this game, but I just kept playing it every so often.

I don't think I ever got further than hatching one or two dragons. Serves me right for getting it via Pompey Pirates :-(

I dont remember the vertical scrolling bit shown in this vid, but I do remember this visiting merchant who used to come and sell you herbs, so you could randomly sling them in the grinder and bunsen burner, and hope for the best

Also released on the Amiga 500, the best music of all the Amiga games, fantastic spellcasting facilities, too complex for some people to master. The best bit of all is the manual dragon control ! Epic game !

I loved this game back in the day. Sadly the disk became corrupted after only a month.

Sadly the AI is very beatable, but the soundtrack kicks ass.
