People have different body types. I think it's unfair that people like Whitney on ANTM, who is curvy, complains that they have been made fun of and have a harder time being considered beautiful in "the real world". That may be true, but I think girls who are tall, naturally skinny, and awkward have a hard time as well.

I am naturally skinny, and have been asked many times if I have an eating disorder. I eat a ton and don't gain weight. Everyone is different. Different is beautiful :)

I think that the judges eliminated her because they knew that if she tried she could be a successful model thereby decreasing the shows influence making it a less successful show.

BTW, I put my lot in for naturally skinny , think about it oily skin+high intelligence+high energy = well nourished

i liked elyse a lot. she has a pixie look that's just different. and i like that she's not afraid to be smart, thereby busting the classic dumb model concept. im sure a lot of models are dumb, but at least elyse isn't one of them.

Elyse is naturally skinny and she doesn't have any kind of eating disorder. I have friends who are like her, skinny, because they have a fast metabolism. I kind of dislike Tyra and Kimora Lee Simmons. Elyse should've won ANTM.

@ShootSomeCrap I dont understand how anyone could possibly think that her level of thinness is natural. Yes she probably is naturally slim because she has a very small bone structure (ie narrow hips, shoulders, etc.) but she is ludicrously thin, no one can be that slim naturally, its impossible. Shes way thinner than on antm and she was pretty much the thinnest contestant of all the girls and didnt have any weight to lose at all

The models in this show have uneven walks. Some are dull, some are happy/excited, some are slow, some are quick, etc.

Why is it that male models on the runway always end up looking WAY too stiff? Or is it just me? But they look really awkward.

And some of the female models twitched their hips too much and ended up making it look as if they were about to start skipping at any given moment. And then some of their smiled...and ended up looking really...not right.

But the clothes were really cute, and definitely wearable, though the last dress is slightly questionable. Some of the beginning skirts would have been cuter with pockets though. *is a total pocket fan*

this collection was created in 2006, so of course the clothing will look a bit out dated...all in all, if you're familiar with marc jacobs work..you can see a bit of his quirkiness within the pieces.

No, you're missing my point. I'm thin too (not that thin) and would NOT like to be fat. I'm all for being slim. But my friend is a catwalk model with a similar body to hers, and she hates her body. She wishes she was shorter and curvier. Men find her too tall and she can't find clothes to fit. I think her body is great, but she doesn't find it easy to be like that, and men don't seem to find it that attractive either for some reason.

exactly, men don't like too thin girls, but that's one of the main point of being skinny in fashion. commercial models are more curvy, and have some meat, couture models don't because couture is all about the clothes, not the models.

i don't think the reason why couture models are so skinny is because couture is all about the clothes. of course, the clothes are important, but thinness is just the trend at the moment. designers just seem to like the look of very tall, very thin girls, and it's not because they want the focus off of the models and on the clothes.
