there's a huge problem with this scenario. first, the wizard would kill the jedi upon meeting him. second, if he were really bored, he'd wait for the clone troops. and kill all in one swoop spell. if were more bored, he'd call his friends. and then kill them all. if they were all bored he'd destroy the clone troops + starships alone or with his friends.

Nice Video. Too much of the rebel fleet, for a background element it takes up around 90% of the video, but the mix of HP and SW works really well. You also take two of my favourite scenes from both series. Nice ending too.

there's a huge problem with this scenario. first, the wizard would kill the jedi upon meeting him. second, if he were really bored, he'd wait for the clone troops. and kill all in one swoop spell. if were more bored, he'd call his friends. and then kill them all. if they were all bored he'd destroy the clone troops + starships alone or with his friends.

I would say episode's IV-VI are better then the Potter movies, but the others are about equal, I think.

The force is so powerful, a jedi or sith does not even need to be looking directly at his opponent to kill him. Vader can force choke Ozzel by merely concentrating on a transmission screen. By the same respects, he can also kill Voldy or Harry from miles, or even light years away, just by looking at a picture of them in a video screen or the Daily prophet.Against that, no wizard can stand a chance. i recommend checking the charts to see how much the LOTR and SW books sold. Same for twilight and comics fans. Fans of anything have to understand that even though they like something, you can't go shooting your mouths off for (fill in the blank) saying it's better. You THINK it's better.
If it was better, more people would buy it.
It doesn't matter if friends tell each other, if it wasn't good they wouldn't read it.

I have many friends who have bought the entire series because they were told to by friends, upping the sales, and they read them and despised them. What parts of SALES DON'T ALWAYS REPRESENT THE QUALITY OF BOOKS don't you get? As I showed already, LotR is one of the Top 100 books from 1923-2005, while HP is not. BTW, you cleary don't see the obvious historical lessons in SW.

For the record. HP grossed $5.4 billion (highest in history) for its movies and LOTR grossed approx 2.8 billion books (2003) 400 million+ Hp 150 million + LOTR

@SevTSnape SW is a direct shout to the lessons learned by political takeovers. The Emperor's takeover is a reference to Nazi Germany. Didn't you notice the Imperial Officer's uniforms and how they are so similar to Nazi uniforms? The entire series is about philosphy, politics, love, triumph, religion, and revolution. Also how is "What's more famous, lovable, and popular is determined by the experts and the fans" not opinionated? Being famous is formed by opinions! Love/pop is by opinions!

@SevTSnape best of all three. SW is second. Yes, the books are not the best, the the universe spawned by them has lasted for over 34 years, continuously growing, while Harry Potter has only been around for about 10-12. The HP universe has no where to grow. JK herself said she wrote them so no one could continue her story. The QUALITY of all three is good, but LotR/SW win. HP wins in QUANTITY. The 8 HP movies/7 HP books will make a shitload of money, because the same fanbase from the

@PS3Playa426 other movies/books are going back to see/read the sequels. The fan base is not increasing, as each movie has grossed about the same amount. (6 movies=5.4 billion=900 million/movie) The SW fanbase is continuously growing. The new EU books and cartoon series are bringing in young kids to the wonderful world of SW. SW is much more accessable to young kids than HP, and also teaches them valuable historic lessons that will help them later in life.

@SevTSnape SW and LOTR are good movies. SW is an ok book. LOTR is a good book.
To stand the test of time. To rival the greats in literary history. To be recognised among English and literary experts. To back up the info you chant because of excessive love for your movie/book. To know the facts behind what you say. To expand and grow.
That's what it means to be great. Harry Potter fits in everything

if you simply say, I am of the opinion these are best
but to actually say they ARE the best needs proof of which there is none
here are the points:
-SW, LOTR never grew by books or made famous by them, au contraire movies did
-no theme parks, no expanded popularity, generational expandment (twilight, hp took over), no museums, no amusement parks
-less gross, less books sales (total, individual)

@SevTSnape I'm curious. Which series did you mean was "dead"? Also, the SW franchise ruled for over 20 years. Even after HP books came out, SW conventions still assembled around the globe (I've gone to them)! "To expand and grow"? What the hell? The HP universe is going nowhere! There will be no more books or plots, meanwhile, the SW universe is STILL growing after 30 years. LotR has been called one of the greatest works in the 20th century. Also, what did you say I made up?

wrong. there will be many books in the future, with a movie series remake, more theme parks, museums, cartoon series, soap operas, etc
