  • I used to comment about the bullet seemingly made out of water, then I took a bullet to my knee.

  • Butter bullet?

  • was that the bullet or the steel that looked like water?

  • This bullet does not penetrate the steel, how come an aluminium boeing can?

  • @antonfilth Stupid conspiracy theory nut jobs.

  • @NtEMegathon hahaha

  • @antonfilth You can start with the fact that aircraft grade aluminum is far harder then an unjacketed lead bullet, which is one of the softest metals in existence there genius.

But don't let that get in the way of your baseless conspiracies that have been debunked by numerous sources about 1000 times now.

  • @mynameistoolonglol haha, it was just a question genius, what baseless conspiracy? lol at chu :)

  • thats so sick...

  • Was that made of water? O_O

  • wow, amazing!!!!

  • Balls of steel

  • fucking awsome...

  • awesome.

  • @plaebslayer You don't see sparks... and molten steel is bright orange smart one. The only common metal I can think of that retains it original color while molten is aluminum, zinc, ect. All soft metals. And how the hell do you shoot molten steel out of a gun? It would severely damage the firearm used to fire the bullet. My guess is you play MW2 and think that all bullets make sparks when they hit something.

  • Holy shit we killed kenny...... were bastards!

  • Can everybody just stop giving me answers? i already had around the 70 (no joke) comments about it.

  • lead

  • fuck!! now i know why i couldnt find the bullet

  • it seems the bullet is melting O.o

  • My favourite part was when "Press escape to exit full screen mode" disappeared and allowed me to watch the 7 second video.

  • metal is malleable the impact stretched it out and broke it up.

  • Wow, i just had 54 comments to teach me why it turns liquid. ._____.

  • My favorite part was when the bullet hit the steel

  • YOU JUST GOT SERVED

  • SPLAT

  • made in china

  • thats epic

  • now i want a fanta

  • Made in China

  • is it a led bullet?

  • you could easily prevent this by moving the target at close to the same velocity and direction of motion as the oncoming bullet...i think that should be a federal law, i call it the 'Save the Bullets' act.: "All targets must now move away from the bullet in a non-confrontational manner"

  • It's a lead bullet. Lead becomes extremely soft when fired from the barrel because it has a lower melting point than most metals causing it to be destroyed on impact with a hard surface.

  • i just ate an apple

  • THUMBS UP IF UR BORED FROM WATCHING TEH WHOLE THING

  • my favorite part was when the bullet hit the metal :)

  • wow amazing

  • aint physics crazy

  • wow amazing

  • This bullet is made of lead

  • Why aren't any of you using your brain? What happens when firing a shot? You burn gun-powder... what happens when stuff burn? It gets hot! And what does hot metal do?(If tempeature is high enough)... It turns liquid... If u watched the full video, you would notice, that the rest of the bullet is stuck on the wall. Is it possible to stuck on a wall? Don't think so. That means that someting liquid is turning into something solid... Alomst everybody should know, that its because its cooling down.

  • @MrMazQue Hmmm...no...Steel under pressure turns liquid. Internal stress of material overcome its limits

  • wtf?? :O!

  • "made in china" that's why the bullet was so cheap.

  • yeah i shoot a 22 lr at steel and it will do the same

  • Chinese products, no wonder us army having problems in Iraq and Afghanistan

  • Nice snowball bro.

  • There needs to be a "repeat" button on youtube. Can't stop clicking the damn replay.

  • @TheatreDesEnfants just tap 0

  • I hope the bullet didnt hurt or get injured <3

  • did he died?

  • my fav part was 0:8

  • Too long and its not a healed bullet.. So its not a 22LR....This is a larger caliber all lead bullet that looks to have been fired out of either a muzzleloading Whitworth rifle or a rifle that incorporated polygon rifling {similar to your glock}... Notice the hexagon shape of the base... Another thing i found interesting is that even though we only witness the last inch of motion before it is liquified by the plate... the rotation of the projectile is still discernable on the high speed film...

  • my favorite part was when people stopped saying my favorite part

  • they smelterd toghter

  • why does the bullet turn liquid? -__-

  • @whopper1209 its moving so fast that the pressure on impact lets the metal behave like a liquid.

  • @sagasa456 ...uhm, no. Heat, does that. Not impact. It's just blew it to fucking pieces that's all.

  • @whopper1209 because you touch yourself at night

  • @antonb000 How could you know this?

    BLACK MAGIC! WITCH!!!

  • @whopper1209 at firing the bullet dough to high pressure when being blown out of the cult it reaches a tempature of 4000 degree or more and become penetrateable for wathever it reaches in this mather of case the bullet hits a steel which cannot be penetrated , because the bullet is at high tempature the moleculs become free of eachother and are easy to leave eachother upon hitting in the steel :) and looks like liquid ;)

  • @whopper1209 its lead

  • @whopper1209 Its hot has has alot of energy behind it.

  • @whopper1209

you're an idiot, lead vs steel...

  • @eatmeaters Dude, calm down.. i was joking

  • @whopper1209 because of its energy... similiar things happen when grinding... grinded metal is ripped from the base material with so much energy, that the shreds are almost liquid (that's why they glow bright... seen as sparks)

  • @whopper1209 the energy comes from inertia... I forgot to add

  • @whopper1209 under those kind of pressures and temperatures everything would turn liquid

  • @Estorial34 so even me? D:

  • @whopper1209 because its chinese

  • @whopper1209 it's made of lead, which is a real soft for being metal

  • @whopper1209 I'm not a master chemist but I know 2 things - maybe it only seems like liquid but it really is the metal turning into powder in extremely high speed making circular waves, or it really is liquidish(melted), due to the very high temperature caused by this impact. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)

  • @Jurra44 The action of the video is called "plastic deformation" it occurs @ high energy levels. The energy of the system is expressed as the product of the bullets inertia. The bullet has more energy in its motion than its structure (lead) can contain, so when it meets the immovable object, it flows like warm butter until all of the energy is dissipated...and yes this creates heat.

  • @tingveson Awesome. Yet another thing I know :) Thanks

  • @whopper1209 because it rubs against the steels and this creates much heat

  • @whopper1209 That is because the kinetic energy of the bullet is transformed into heat and the bullet turns liquid as a result.

  • @TheLidohan its the energy in the foward motion that gets coverted, unless its a kennedy assin bullet that comes to a stop with out any deformation.

  • @whopper1209 when the bullet travels it becomes hot as HELL and melts

  • @Thesargeantclan Wrong, when the bullet travels, air friction will slightly increase the temp, but once the bullet contacts and deforms really fast, the bullet's temperature shoots up. Basic metallurgy my friend.

Bullets that become hot during travel are called "tracers"

  • @LuyenDarkness okay, learned something! :D

  • @Thesargeantclan lol k,

  • @LuyenDarkness worng. tracers are actually a type of bullet that glows a becuase of phosphorus or similar substance is added to the base of the catridge making it glow brighter. this is to show the bullets trajectory to the shooter enabling him to correct his shots.

  • @lem891 I don't see it as "wrong" as you just basically added to my statement

  • @whopper1209 Because it's made of lead. And lead is very soft. You can in fact deform it with bare hands.

  • @whopper1209 because lead is a soft metal? and great force applied makes it very mallable

  • @whopper1209 Because it was made in China :)

  • @whopper1209 Its the kinetic energy turning into heat and the heat destabilizes the crystals in the metal causing it to become a non-newtonian fluid.

  • @thesparitan english plz?

  • @111funnydude any liquid that is between solid and liquid like jello is a non-newtonian fluid. All metals are made from crystals when solid. Super heated metal turns into a non-newtonian fluid because the heat breaks down crystals. When an object is moving with enough speed it can have enough energy to turn into a liquid on impact. So the bullet have alot of energy when it hits the metal plate, the kinetic or momentum energy converts into heat energy through friction.

  • @thesparitan thnx :)

  • @111funnydude Anytime, its good you are curious. Shows character.

  • @thesparitan thnx :)... again :)

  • @thesparitan u r da next albert enstein

  • @BrendanTaylorrulz No, I'm just a moron with a keyboard standing on the shoulders of giants.

  • @whopper1209: Most likely it melts. All of the bullet's kinetic energy is transfered into heat.

  • @whopper1209 kinetic energy transferred into heat at impact

  • @BLAHBLABBA omg ppl r still tellin him tat 5 months after the question get a life u nerds

  • @yummyummfish You must be so stupid. How are they nerds for answering a question? Is it too complicated for you or something you fatdumbasskidwithoutaneducation?

  • @MyWaffles1 jeez dont get angry :O

  • @yummyummfish Didn't. I just like to swear and say shyt to morons =3.

  • @MyWaffles1 SO DO I!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG

  • @yummyummfish Then you must talk to yourself quite a lot.

  • @whopper1209 Let's see you stay solid after impact at such speed/power.

  • @whopper1209 there isn't liquid, it's just because of speed,

  • @whopper1209

It doesnt turn to liquid it turns to lead dust, the bullet was going so fast that when it hit the steel it disentigrated upon impact. You can see the shockwave created by the round when it disentigrates.

  • @whopper1209 heat and pressure

  • its 22lr?

  • All of Newton's Laws at work here. The bullet, in motion, hits the steel, an external force, causing the bullet to change motion (1st Law). The bullet has incredible force, but little mass compared to the steel, so it liquefies (2nd Law). The steel pushes on the bullet with the same force the bullet had on it, but since the steel is more massive, it clearly won (3rd Law).

The bullet melts because its energy can't pass through the steel, so it turns to heat and melts the lead.

  • @lifeofthe6 well... looks like we have sum1 doing physics here as their main subject in college... i tip my hat off to u sir/madam... physics is one hell of a subject to study

  • Cool :)

    Bullet looks like a .22LR ?

  • DAMN

  • mind = blown

  • now thats a high steel

  • Chinese bullet...;)

  • Comment removed

  • is that bullet made of cheese? lol

  • wtf just happened?

  • that had to be the most awesomest freaking video i have ever seen in my freaking awesome life.

  • Bullet? What Bullet?

  • Wait.

How did i get from lego greenscreen tutorials to this?

the related vids take you on a adventure =/

  • thats what happens to missiles if they dare to hit Chuck Norris

  • .22?

    Looks amazing..

  • @shick1337 not a .22, idk what it is, i think its a pistol round, idk

  • @XvChriisvX No, is lead :D

  • @acepilot1997 orly?

  • @XvChriisvX yesrly

  • it looks like water

  • :OOOOOOO

Your face when the bullet hit the steel.

  • I can't stop watching this goddamn video! it's so satisfying!

  • 0:03 seconds, is that the death star?

  • This was 1 million frames per second, right?

  • now thats what im talking about

  • I didn't know steel could turn into water?

  • did the steel die?

  • liquid bullet

  • pancake?

  • that bullet just squished like shit..

  • i dont know about steel but the bullet is compleatly fucked up =)

  • cool

  • pulverized!!

  • That is a saliva particle from chuck norris sneezing.

  • definetly a .22...I've seen many of those lead disks around after shooting .22lrs at steel and lots of lead spray damage everywhere.

  • @yugom5966 NOT a .22 LR

  • @TGLymantaiste

What is it then? It just behaved as I've seen .22s do when the hit steel.

  • @yugom5966 I may owe you an apology. I was slowing it down to look at it and I still cant get a good image of the skirt to tell but it could be a .22 or .38 LRN. Hard to say but you could be right.

  • What if I combine the two hightest comment will I get some thumb

My favorite part was when the bullet hit the steel.

    is the steel okay?

Lol just kidding XD but we so saw these kind of comment everywhere and they get thumb wonder why :P

  • That was pretty.

  • PA-TINK.... terminator still coming for you

  • It looks like water.

  • My favorite part was when the bullet hit the wall, all the other stuff was boring.

  • damn physics, you crazy!!

  • Is...is it dead?

  • bye bye.

  • the best part was the bullet hiting the steel

  • in unreal tournament voice : PANCAKED!

  • thats hot!

  • is the steel okay?

  • @xxuncexx No, it died.

  • @xxuncexx no

  • thats 9mm bullet.

  • its a .22

  • dude^^

  • THAT SHIT WAS REAL COOL :)

  • Looks like a 70 yr old vagina.

  • @KnifeinSkull5 I'm sure you know what that looks like...

  • My favorite part was when the bullet hit the steel.

  • @robroythefirstmm

OMG YEAH I SAW THAT BIT TOO! :D

  • @robroythefirstmm the whole vid is about that you idiot!!

  • @ToontownFan123451 Obviously, You can not identify SARCASM you fuckin IDIOT. Why would you call me an idiot over something that does not even require an IDIOTIC response such as yours?

  • @ToontownFan123451 Oh wait. You're 14. I did not knowthat 14 year olds these days were such idiotic losers. If I was your father I would ban you off the internet, FOR LIFE!

  • @ToontownFan123451 THATS THE JOKE

  • @ToontownFan123451 right overr your head.

  • @robroythefirstmm

yeah that part was okay, to me it's a close 2nd

  • @robroythefirstmm wait which part was that? i must have missed it!
