@VinnyPowell1974 The duck tail sponson was added in 1999 so the ship would meet the latest SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea ). It extends the hull dimension at or below the waterline and serve to increase flotation or add lift when underway.
Yes does look abit funny but at least its still in service after 30 years :)
does anyone know why they made those modifications to the stern of the ship? It looks ridiculous

Yes still goingI did the maiden voyage on her as originally she was named st david way back in setember 1981,
