@TheThreeHundredHemi I disagree, the hemi may sound the best, and be the strongest, but consistent power band, and reliability, and the inability to blow it has to lie with the 4" bore and stroke combo ot the 383 stroker,

@TheThreeHundredHemi you would be surprised at how well one with an oversized cooling system will hold up against a 426. I've had people blow their $10,000 hemi trying to keep up over the long haul. When they were banned from nascar, they did something to make them a little less reliable after 1970.

Thanks for all the nice comments! It was at a GTG in Tucson, AZ (Mt. Lemmon). All I've done is a CAI (homemade), Manual exhaust dumps (side exit), Flowmasters, 4.56 posi gears and 150 shot of nitrous (I don't use very much anymore). I don't even have a programmer on it anymore (still waiting for Diablo to come out for the 5.7).
