I streetboard and have never skateboarded so can't compare the two, and frankly is kind of daft to as are two very different sports. This is HARD to learn. I take mine down to the park and teach anyone who wants to give it a go and almost no one even gets it moving. When u get the hang of it though is amazing fun and aside from nailing myself on a regular basis (no bails) is best time i've ever had with my pants on. ADDICTIVE, get one!

After skating for 20+ years (yikes!) I know that skaters generally hate anything other than skating - it's almost engrained in the fabric of skating! Whatever...this takes some skill and reminds me of the early days when I first started skating. Every piece of cement and asphalt was a new challenge - plus I like the close connection to snowboarding. Very impressive.

I have done it all, skateboarding, rollerblading and streetboarding. i don't like one over the other, there all unique and have different styles. as long as i can hit the streets, grind with my buddies who cares if i cant kick flip with a streetboard or hit a top side on a skateboard.... i have to admit tho , just moving, no tricks, the streetboard took me longer to get used to then the other two.

Snakeboards have been around for over twenty years, and some guys (like me) have been riding for about 15 of those twenty.

Back in the days, I used to ride past a group of skaters, and they would laugh (of course) so I stopped, and let one try my board, and they let me try their skateboard. So they would fall off my Snakeboard, and then I would acid drop their pretty little skateboard and they would cry that mommy wouldn't buy them a new deck.
