to danyboy, to me, it's pretty much saying he had this girl who knew who was the only one who really knew him, he lost her...and he was broken...lost and insecure, waiting for God to find him...and God didn't show up necessarily when he needed him, but he found him "just a little late"... this exact thing happened to me as we're speaking. lost my love...and where is God? i've pushed him so far away...but He eventually found me - just took a little while... i dont know if that makes any sense :)
