'SPECS' don't [watch my lips] WORK - see my post on another of these similar posts re this very subject. In any case, unless the WHOLE road network is covered, they remain, as a safety [!] issue, ineffective. Personally, I'd like to see more roads CLOSED and dug up and rail replace them - a MUCH better and civillised way to travel - not to mention FASTER. Smile!

@bstocksful The government don't hide speed cameras, they have nothing to do with the operational aspects of speed enforcement.

We are currently moving to SPECS average speed systems that mount the eqiupment high on gantries & very much in plain sight.
