  • Also you hang your green screen outside on an overcast none windy day, this will give you even lighting but make sure your dog does knock over the tripod.

  • This not real. Leave alone the fact that some people think ghosts don't exist. I personally believe in ghosts, but this is fabricated! Have any intention of proving me the opposite? You are free to write me a message with a link to REAL ghost footage. The guy in this video(s) does so many mistakes that prove this fabricated. It's fabricated really good, though.

  • i watched all your videos it's so real right?

i have seen a spirit and heard noices before but not scared? Little tense of its presence when is the next one will she ever rest in peace

  • I have one question,

    why green?

  • @12enma12 It's hard to explain so sorry for the wrong grammar. They usually use green cause it is the most farthest color to our skin.

  • How much does sony vegas 9 cost

  • red blue and green the 3 colors of the guns in cameras green is best for video blue is best for film

  • lolvegas

  • is it possible to not use a green screen... like a wall and just tinker with the visibility in the color selector? obviously it might not be as accurate as pure green but is it possible?

  • thanks so much! i used to just test out the customizing randomly, but now i know how to use the show mask only! thanks!

  • I Use Final Cut Pro On The Mac Instead Of Sony Vegas Pro 9

  • what is VisionLab? do u have tutorials?

  • Nice video Mark

I wish you would state if you can do if you can and can't do something with Sony Vegas Movie Studio since not all of can afford the cost of Vegas Pro.

    Thanks and Later!!!

  • Giving this one a spin on autoplay

  • Mr Apsolon you make it looks so easy

  • @leokimvideo it is easy

  • It is because it's not like the skin tone, that's how it works best isn't it Mark?

  • sweet!! Great Video!

  • nice video!

  • Wow, I didn't know about the redscreen thing either. :) Nice video.

  • how do you chroma key on vision lab studio

  • Thanks Mark.

As always a great tutorial, it helped alot :)

  • does the green screen have to be that color green.. what if its an off green and is darker than that green.

  • @Deathfire32 Usually Chroma Key kind of things prefer the bright green, so it stands out of your skin color. That is why we use bright colors and colors that are farthest away from our skin color. Bright Green or Bright Blue are commonly used.

  • Nice :D

  • That's interesting... Always wondered how to do that.

    Great vid. Thanks a lot

  • what I like about your tutorials is that they are really STEP by STEP, any noob can understand it :D (also, could you go into more depth when it comes to AE chroma keying? Having trouble getting the green halo out, even with blur etc.)

  • 102 likes, 2 don't like tells me this is exactly what tubers want

  • explained by one of the best on the tube

  • awesome :)

  • Witch is better sony vegas or after effects

  • Mark, what do you use for the screen capture?

  • From the look of the cursor (yellow circle highlighting it), he most likely uses Camtasia Studio/Recorder as a lot of people including myself do.

  • Thank you so much for uploading, added to favs!

  • cool thnx

  • yea another sony vegas pro 9 tutorial .. can't wait to learn more ..

  • spot on mate but I am using corel x12 which is pants and doesn't have the same facilities as your vegas pro 9

  • Awesome! This should help a lot! Thanks so much!

  • you can use red screen? I thought you can only use green and blue screen?

  • @stuntkid256 nope redscreen too for special circumstances. It was used in Predator :)

  • @markapsolon Well... technically... you could use any color. All you are doing is taking out one certain color, but that color can't come in contact with any other color the subject has or is wearing. But green and blue are the best for color-separation overlay. Also the human skin has tints of other colors like orange or yellow. Green, Blue, and Red are the best.

  • @markapsolon in the video, u mentioned about ur previous video but its about a contest winner

  • @markapsolon

You can use any color you choose with most software, I've never used Vegas pro before but, anyway its always best to use colors like green and blue because they are farthest from the tone of human skin. You don't want any faces vanishing!

  • @markapsolon

    In which circumstances?

I know that it's used but people say that it's hard to achieve good effect because your skin color is going to be almost the same as your red screen...

  • @stuntkid256 I would not use red, cause it might give trouble if you´re filming a person, since your skin colour is "almost red" . If your filming something else, that has a colour thats unlike red it might work. I use green screen cause (almost) nothing on the person is green. But if you dont have a green screen, but you have a red screen give it a go. But I would´nt recommend buying a red screen over a green/bluescreen. Hope my comment was´nt to hard to get.

  • You can use purple too, basically any primary colour that contrasts against elements in your footage and in some cases black.

During the filming of the Richard Donner movie Superman: The Movie, Marlon Brando was filmed wearing a black turtle neck shirt against a black screen in order to capture his head for the Fortress of Solitude shots.

  • @stuntkid256 Any color can be keyed out :D

  • @stuntkid256 yeah, any color, I think it's just usually green because that's and easy color to have left out, along with blue. but you COULD you any color

  • @stuntkid256

Years ago Disney developed a Yellow screen method.

  • @stuntkid256 technnically, you can use whatever color you want. Green and blue are most common though as they key the best.

  • @stuntkid256 it just needs to be something the farthest away from your skin color,

  • FINALLY! SOME TUTORIALS :)

  • Can you remove my other comment? I just realised my headphones were off :P

  • @KidBajan You can remove your own comments if you didn't know that.

  • @Brusier47

    Mine can't do it.

  • I think you should've talked it through for the slow people.

  • Final Cut is easy just like Vegas Pro. we use a Grassvalley switcher at work, makes chromakeying even easier!

  • Sik thanks

  • Wow I really need Vegas 9!!!!!! so many options for Chroma-key. wow. So cool!!!

  • thanks for the tutorial..

  • thanks mate

  • I have that shirt that he has! =)

  • thanks man this was really helpful :)

  • you have the best filming tutorials on youtube

  • i think i will come back to this video if i ever manage to win vegas pro from the commenter awards (hint hint)

  • Nice. I thought the wrinkles in the green screen would cause trouble, but it looks like it worked great.
