@linktruman23 for me karpov is the best stragetic chess-player in the history . fischer did not want to play
against karpov ! ! ! karpov is the only player who was extremely respected by fischer.for me karpov is better than kasparov but he is physically not stabil. he was leading in the first match 5-0 agaist kasparov.
@damthatriver09 Grandmasters have spent thousands of hours studying and playing. They have seen the most common chess patterns countless times, and therefore in most positions can move "without thinking." It is like any other sport - repetition leads to effective response.
shame on Kramnik.. Exchange-Variation in the French :) tztz - but anyway great Tournament with great Players, i really enjoyed watching Garri Kasparov playing again. I really hope he will do rather well against Anatoli Karpov in September.
¡Wao! ¡Qué país! Miren cómo cuelgan las fotos de los Grandes Maestros. ¡Qué bien!

Kasparov is my idol also in chess, in fact he is at the top of my list as the greatest chess player of all time!
mckill2007 2 years ago 2
Kasparov can never be as strong as he was 10 years ago!
But he can still improve his game a little bit if he quits his political career.
Thanks for sharing this!
