lol well that so wrong in a few ways. First, Its been known that Israel won't let the proper equipment into gaza that is necessary for the effective removal of unexploded ordinance. Second, its also been known that Israel purposely targets public service buildings and personnel such as police. And thrid, a big reason why there isn't nearly as much undetonated explosives in Israel is because gaza doesn't dump tons of cluster bombs into Israel. Qassam rockets are sporadic and small scale.

Hmm lets see, when an unexploded ordinance is found in Israel it is safely detonated, when one is found in gaza hamas does nothing, that would explain why you only hear of unexploded munitions going off everyday in gaza and none going off in Israel. That was the point. The point was never that a safety mechanism makes it safer for a target when an explosive is in play. So yes technically a professional made bomb or explosive is more safe then a homemade explosive when not in play because of safety mechanisms.

Ya that is true you can have a large amount of explosives and not have as large of explosion as maybe some of other combination, however though when it comes to all High explosive weapons it is the shrapnel that creates the lethality of the weapon, those rockets palestinian shoot carry over 1500 steel balls. I was against the Israeli war as much as anyone, but frankly its totally ridiculous to ignore Hamas and other Palestinian factors of firing rockets at Israeli towns.
Both sides are in the wrong here and this conflict will not be resolved if people stick blindly to one side. Hamas needs to accept Israel's right to exist and Israel needs to stop ignoring Hamas because it considers it terrorist, it was elected.

Even though there are qassam rocket attacks on Israel, they should demonstrate restraint on how they conduct their counter attacks. This point is driven more by the fact that Israel does not allow anyone to leave during these raids. Cluster bombs and WP munitions are unnessecary. Israel is attacking people (mostly civilians) with state-of-the-art weapons. Not allowing anyone to escape is like throwing a grenade into a fish bowl. modern weaponry requires restraint.

Those qassam rocket attacks are warcrimes, and they, those firing the rockets should show the most restraint considering there is no targeting mechanism. Cluster bombs and WP munitions can be unnecessary depending upon the circumstance. How is wp a state of the art weapon? All it is is just a munition that has a chemical that burns really hot, cluster bombs are not state of the art either. All weapons require restraint, modern weapons the least of all because of the targeting mechanisms.

Well thanks for proving my point. Because WP and cluster munitions by their nature do not target any specific target. So maybe they should start using more advanced weapons since they are targeting enemies in highly populated areas. And im not saying that the qassam rockets are not a crime either. But, force used by Israel is disproportionate. A qassam is like a rock. Atrillery and tank rounds, WP, and cluster munitions are like boulders. Besides, Israeli people have the option to flee the area.

I disagree with that figure. That figure fails to mention that at least 1/4 - 1/2 of those rockets fail to detonate because they are home-made. Also, You can have large amounts of explosives in weapons but if they are not engineered to an exact science then it isn't fully utilized like Israel's American manufactured weapons. And plus, like I said. None of those palestinian people are able to flee anywhere out of danger.

Muslims have to join the army during war time and they have to protect everyone under their care including the non Muslims. The Israels accepted the UN proposal back in 1948 that would create both Israel and palestine and would make jerusalem a neutral city controlled and protected by the UN, the Arabs rejected this offer meaning it was the arabs who started the conflict back in 1948.

Actually Hamas won the democratic elections, approved by all the international observers.
