You know what surprises me? I just downloaded a random bootleg concert of these guys, and they jam a LOT. There's a 7 minute long version of Broken Boy Soldier and a 9 minute long version of this song. Despite this, all the videos of them on youtube are them playing these really short renditions of all their songs. So, I ask you, WHERE HAS THE JAM GONE?

(Also, if anyone's curious, the concert was at the Apollo in Manchester, and I downloaded it from the Midnight Cafe blog.)

This is not the best recording of the Racs doing this live (look up the version from Nashville's City Hall), so it's really not very fair to judge them based on this. If they're not your cup of tea, fine. Diverse opinions are what make humanity interesting. I don't, however, see the point in going into the comments section just to talk s**t. There's enough negativity in the world without people pointlessly adding to it. I promise you, neither this band nor their fans are losing sleep over you.

Hmmm...is it really important to compartmentalize the music? What's important is whether or not it is worth listening to, this isn't a particularly good recording but they do a great cover and the original stuff is tight too.
