i have this car but for some reason it keeps not wanting to run.. we just replaced the CCRM and the fuel pump and acouple other things but for some reason it starts but it doesnt want to keep running, it struggles

any help would be nice

@nicknsk8er check ur cam timing sensor.. it tells it when to fire the injectors if not that try checking the injectors their self.. tell me if it helps

94-98 v6 ustangs were rated 145-150 HP at crank depending one what year and 215 torque

and the 99-04 showed an increase to 190 Hp (multi port) and 235 TQ

I hate those cars I have the same kind, 98,3.8 v6. when you rev it, it takes forever for the rpms to drop,

i know the hp is bad in the 94-98 mustangs, but hows the torque?? good-bad what?

They have like around 125 hp at the wheels and torque i am not realy shure , but i mean i know v6 stock arent realy fast but manual ones like mine if you rev it around 3000 RPMs they do take of realy good but compared to a GT is not that fast , to be able to keep up whit them you would need several bolt on's !!!

They have more then 125 h/p going to the rear wheels, the specs are 150 h/p with 215lbs torque and 0-60 in 9.9secs stock.

they have about 215 lb ft torque alot for how much hp it has, comparing to a 99 grand prix gt wth 200hp and 225 lb ft torque i believe.

i don't know what power steering problem that comes with "all of the V6 stangs" you're referring too, but there isn't any whine upon revving my engine.

mine made that exact noise and than one day green oil was all over the ground. After i got it fixed it sound the same but without the annoying whining

wow, mine had that whining nose and i found out that the power steering pump was messed up.

yea all of the v6 stangs have that noice and it is the power steering pump but they sound like that from factory thats how they come , but i know mine is not bad because there are no oil leaks and it turns nice and smooth.

so theres nothing to get rid of that whining noise? cuz wen my v6 starts it whines rediculously loud im almost convinced theres a small error somewhere..
