I completed my RCM Grade 10 in piano. I know nothing about classical guitar, but your video definitely has inspired me to take lessons. Your playing was BEAUTIFUL and I am very, very jealous of your awesome abilities.
@ritsbits88 Hey Ryan! Thanks so much for listening to this. I remember having such a hard time this this piece. Especially the dynamics of the piece. I dropped by your channel and really liked your playing as well. Grade 10 RCM! Wow! Impressive! Will you continue to the ARCT level? Hopefully, when I reach grade 10, I will be able to played with just as fluid as you do now. Thanks again Ryan for listening!
@van1976 Ah, there you are Van. Thanks so much for commenting. I've been incognito for awhile because of this guitar exam but I'm done now so hopefully I'll be able to do another video soon. I was thinking about one from Enya. I recently heard someone play one of her song on guitar and was mesmerized. Anyways thanks for always listening Van.
capo? have u tried tuning half step up? nice one. esp the rhythm you played it smooth and lively. i am not a huge fan of mozart but this piece is lovely and well executed!
@wooki97 Hi Chris! Yeah just experimenting with it. I wanted to have a really bright tone. I'm not really familiar with a lot of Mozart pieces but I wanted to attempt this one because of the tempo. It's so different to the ones that I'm use to. Come to think of it, I think I should of tuned it up a bit. I didn't use the capo on my exam though. I think I'd probably have marks deducted if I did...lol. Thanks a lot Chris for always listening to me.
@cjlimusic Aww, thanks Cj! I've been watching some of your older stuff and seriously Cj, you have "Power Slide" written all over you...lol. It's so good to see musicians like yourself and your awesome band have so much fun. I so can wait for your next song.
Very nice my friend Mel! The recording is good too. Have fun on your guitar exam. Are you in conservatory? Also, thanks for a little bio of Mozart. Very sad indeed.
@jnclassicalguitarist - Hey Julie! Yeah, I'm taking my exams with the Royal Conservatory of Music. I get so nervous playing in front of people and that will be my biggest obstacle. I don't know how you do it Julie. You're so natural when you play. Right now though, I'm working on the melody playback part....yikes! Thanks so much Julie for always listening. Your comments always me me that extra boost and the smiles help a lot too. Thanks again Julie!
@gallito1010 - Hi Jose! Yeah I've been wanting to upload this one for awhile now since it is an exam piece of mine. I really TRIED to show the dynamics of the piece but still haven't got the staccatos exactly how I want them to sound quite yet. I think we have the same book....so cool. I'm also working on the really weird sound piece called Miniature no.19 by Alain Reiher. Any pointers on that one? Anyways Jose, that so much for listening.
Very nice upload. I like the volume variations. Also i think the melody is nice and clear. Good luck with your exam. Which exam are you doing? I did my grade 6 exam last november. Scored a b+. My biggest problem was my nerves. Good idea with the capo.
@Mr5stevenr hey yes we have the same book !! you play the dinamics really good !1 i am not very good on dinamics i play the songs the way i feel them not the way composers feel them !!! just play the wey you feel the music and you are going to enjoy much more what you do !! good luck with your exam I bet you will do well !!
@zeynioglu - Hey Tamer, how's it going? Sorry about the fuzz in the background of the video. That's why I was so interested in your clear audio in all your videos. No fuzz whatsoever. I was thinking about an interface like yours but there are so many of them and I just don't know what would be good for classical stuff you know. Anyways, thanks Tamer for always listening and most importantly, commenting.
@johee626 - Hi Johee! Just saw your video of your new home. Looks like a beautiful home Johee. Where are your cats? Anyways, thanks for listening to me "attempt" all my interpretations.
@mike23335 - Hey Mike! Yeah, this one is a little belated. I had so much trouble with this one because I wasn't satisfied with the tone it had. I was looking for a brighter sound so that's when I realized I had a capo...lol. I figured I'd try it on this piece since my guitar instructor isn't around. Thanks Mike for listening.
@MSumodobila haha ur instructor bustes down ur door wrong u fail the class hehehe im kidding but yeah man really great cover very soothing and a beutiful piece.
@azninja80 - James! How are you man? Are you going to be on Ian's upcoming event? Haven't been on blog for awhile. I have to go for visit soon. I'm so out of the loop. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and listening to my feeble attempts to make music...lol.
@mamilindamami - Hey you. I've been listening you your videos and you truly are a beautiful singer Glory. I've been wanting to upload something for awhile but, my house never seems to be quiet...lol. That's why I went to a different room away from the noise. Thanks so much for listening Glory.
@1937sarah - Hey Sarah! Whoa, now that was a quick response. Thanks so much for commenting. Just visited your channel and I see you've seen David Choi's new video. I had to favorite it. That has to be one of my favorite songs that he has written so far. Anyways, thanks again Sarah for listening.
