i have an MSY2 MIDI-SYNC converter with my tb303 into the SYNC out of the msy2 and midi out of my pc to midi in of the msy2 but i dont know how to set up the rest

Very nice! I am considering a TB 303 as my first piece and I think it's a good place to start. As for a drum machine. People say the Korg EMX1 is one of the best. How does the sound of the Korg compare to the 909 or 808???

@lukesfx I think it being a little late adds character. You'll hear pitch inaccuracies in CV sequencers, and timing inaccuracies in lots of older MIDI devices. You could worry about the timing or enjoy the pure experience like your synth is a member of your band :)

@deedub I had one years ago and gave it up... like an idiot, then thankfully I got another one (phew) and also an xoxbox. It's like having two 303s but the original is still the original imo but only purists would probably notice in a mix.
