watched this last night, it was the most disturbing movie in the world. i watched it in the dark. i hated my dreams after that, the end was freaking scary of the movie! at 0:26 i hated that part. it was so frightening.

guys. Why don't you all just look this up on one of the literally +20,000,000 sites that talk about this movie? You know what genre this movie is? Science FICTION or MOCK-umentary. Had the one guy REALLY have killed his wife, children and himself it would not only be at least Rated R but maybe not even allowed to be shown. Real murder for a movie isn't allowed. BUT that doesn't mean I don't believe in the theory this movie produces.

The footage is not real. As a matter of fact, Universal was obligated to pay the town of Nome, Alaska $20,000 in restitution because of how the movie portrayed their town. If you research public and police records, you will note that there have not been any more UFO sightings in Nome than in any other part of America. The people in the footage are actors. If anyone looks closely enough, you'll find their names in the credits.
