Least favorite dancer on SYTYCD. She looks, acts, and dances like a common stripper. Now that she is doing 'real' routines, she does not stand out to me, despite her rave reviews each week. She is in the top 20 because she is the most fame hungry, and when contestants pursue high profile dance careers afterward, then the show gains credibility. She is a one trick pony, and I hope she gets her dream of becoming a Pussycat Doll, that's all I want to ever hear of her again. Gag! Cheap trash.

weights help. put weights on your leg and try to bring it up and hold it there for as long as possible. do this a lot. constantly. and you should get it in no time. it is painful though & your butt cramps up -.-
dancers wear a special type of heels made just for dancing. They incease the beauty in lines for sure! Still, it is really difficult to dance in them!

i disagree. I think that it shows that they are having fun with their routine and they are comfortable up on stage. I dont think its even planned. Unprofessional to who? the PROFESSIONAL judges seemed to like it. lol

It was impressive because of her lines, sass, and the fact she wore heels. Having said that, as a solo, the dance didn't do it for me. It had choppy transitions and didn't flow very well. It would make a sick small group, however.

Good technique, awesome costume, but a little too many 'sexy' pauses in the dance. Nothing wrong with being sexy onstage, but I think this one overpowered the actual dancing a bit. Saw the same thing in one of Paula VanOppen's dances with kind of the same structure of pop music/sexiness, and it just came off as trying too hard or something in my opinion.

Hmm ok. The lady who choreographed the dance is the only one who has a response to all of the "too provocative" comments that makes sense. This choreo is preparing her for the dance industry bcuz now it's all about sexy fossy attitude.
Its not the dancers fault. Its just that somehow competition choreo has turned into... "who can do the bestt splits and who has the most sparkly outfit." I love it when there is something different in dances... There just isn't that much technique involved anymore. Thats all Ok? no need to get mad. I just think people need to broaden their dancing experience... like taking a ballet class or a hip hop class. It will all in all make you even better and not just like everyone else!
Jordan takes 4 hrs ballet a week and yes she does hip hop....she's actually pretty good at it too. A few years back though, you are right, dance was about sparkly outfits and tech. But dance has evolved into so much more now and its being refleted in the competition world. Dancers dont have to stand in one place and do sets of a la secons to show they have technique. How strong of a dancer they are is reflected in their movement and what their lines look like.

ok. whoever you are... that wasn't an attempt at shimmying... it is a subtle one... it is called style, and that is what is it suppose to look like. just because you most likely can't pull this dance off, and you are jealous of her doesn't mean that you have to be a smart aleck. she is one of my most favorite dancers ever. don't hate... let me see you pull of about 6 turns in heels.. :]

that was amazing! i LOVED it, it was perfect. EXCEPT its so annoying when people sing the song there dancing too, AH! its so unperfessional. but other than that wow, this dance is hot!

i disagree. I think that it shows that they are having fun with their routine and they are comfortable up on stage. I dont think its even planned. Unprofessional to who? the PROFESSIONAL judges seemed to like it. lol

she has great technique but i really hated the choreography it was boring and didn't really show what she could do very well. though i do think she is an awesome dancer but that was horrible

It was impressive because of her lines, sass, and the fact she wore heels. Having said that, as a solo, the dance didn't do it for me. It had choppy transitions and didn't flow very well. It would make a sick small group, however.

No, I watched it once, and I'm definitely not jealous. Jazz isn't my style, but that doesn't make me naive about it.
However, this dance wasn't compelling to me. I do think the performer is good, and definitely has talent.
The choreography just needs work, I suppose.

Good technique, awesome costume, but a little too many 'sexy' pauses in the dance. Nothing wrong with being sexy onstage, but I think this one overpowered the actual dancing a bit. Saw the same thing in one of Paula VanOppen's dances with kind of the same structure of pop music/sexiness, and it just came off as trying too hard or something in my opinion.
Still, both are very good dancers in themselves.

Hmm ok. The lady who choreographed the dance is the only one who has a response to all of the "too provocative" comments that makes sense. This choreo is preparing her for the dance industry bcuz now it's all about sexy fossy attitude.

Its not the dancers fault. Its just that somehow competition choreo has turned into... "who can do the bestt splits and who has the most sparkly outfit." I love it when there is something different in dances... There just isn't that much technique involved anymore. Thats all Ok? no need to get mad. I just think people need to broaden their dancing experience... like taking a ballet class or a hip hop class. It will all in all make you even better and not just like everyone else!

Jordan takes 4 hrs ballet a week and yes she does hip hop....she's actually pretty good at it too. A few years back though, you are right, dance was about sparkly outfits and tech. But dance has evolved into so much more now and its being refleted in the competition world. Dancers dont have to stand in one place and do sets of a la secons to show they have technique. How strong of a dancer they are is reflected in their movement and what their lines look like.

wonderful dancer but i do have to say that it was a little too provocative. Just my opinion though. nobody has to freak out about it. When i saw that she had heels on it made her an even better dancer. wow!!! i wish i could just walk in heels
