In the Rastafarian religion they believe that your body is your temple, and they do not believe in doctors. Marley was playing soccer one day, and broke his toe. He was going to let the break run it's course and heal it's self. It got infected, and spread throughout his body. He didn't not want to see a doctor, due to his religion. That's how he died. Learn before you speak, kid.

The rastafarian religion, which he was part of, is based upon the bible and is most definitely a Christian religion, though it's criticised for using bible passages to defend the use of herbs (cannabis).

The cancer spread and he chose an alternativ treatment, but it was to late.
