It was released and developed by Sega. The arcade was from sega and this version on the NES is only an port.

You can get a nicely souped up version of this game (sound, music, and graphics) for the TurboGrafx 16. It's a great little game, one of my favorite classic cards.

when you're at the hunter's guild, go to the back where the dancers are. They play fantasy zone and dance to it.

i loved that game! the bosses were sometimes amazingly hard...mfkrs...xD but...i played it on the "sega - master system" console...the music was much better there :/

This is not the best quality engine, the best was on the arcade version. It's possible to find ripped midis from the game but really the source itself is amazing.
