@RealRapMusic187 don't know where you did you research bud, but the talkbox WAS in fact made for guitars. Other people started using it for synthesizers later on.
@severia123 depends which epiphones and which Squiers. The Vintage Jap Squiers are as good as real fenders, while Epiphones never ever reach the gibson standard
The third guitar I ever got is a Gibson Les Paul custom in black with gold hardware The second is an epiphone Les Paul black with slver hardware and the first was a black ibanez gio!
12 year olds with talent is what you get when a family has money and grew up with a rock outlook. Now when you have a poor family that raised a child with country...it takes a little more time XD
my 1st guitar was a black ibanez gio and i sold it when i got my eppi lp and then when i was getting a new guitar i could spend 200 and i got a fender sq for olny 90 dollers and i relly lked it better then most of the 200 dolelr guitars it olny need the strings to be brough down and ithen it was prefect
Hippibluesdude, fuck you. I play an Epiphone Les Paul Special II, and that's only $170, and I was gonna get a talkbox for Christmas. Thanks for insulting me, asshole.
Well, because I want to get a Hagstrom Viking, but it was 600 bucks, which i didnt have. I only had 150 bucks at the time, which would only buy me another squire... so i got a pretty cool gadget. But this Christmas i'm getting my Hagstrom, so it'll be cool. And by the way, If me playing a squire offends any one an any way possible, i guess i'm sorry...
there's nothing to be sorry about dude...some people's heads are so far up their asses, they just think they know it all...It was a pretty decent demo. By the way, my guitar doesn't even have a brand, still rocks out most other corporate guitars. Nice job!!!
hey, everybody has to start somewhere. i mean, who cares what he plays if he can play it well. i started out on a $200 steinberger and it wasn't until i had been playin guitar for 2 years that i got my ibanez, and its still only a mid-range guitar
right i really want a talkbox and gd one and the heil sounds good but its such a pain settin it up and u need a 2nd amp and all that shit and i cant be asked with that with the banshee can u literally power it up and hook it up through tour guitar amp cause i want it ot be loud but i int got a pa so can u just power it through your guitar amp thats a ll i want to know and if i can would it be loud enough for gigs to power about a hall of 250 people
well, like i said, the banshee talbox IS, just an amp with a hole in it (for the tube). All of the sound that you get is coming out of this hole. When you attach the tube, all of the sound travels up the tube, and out. At maximum, the sound is,like, 5-8 watts. (Maby less.) So no, it would not be loud enough to hear at a concert. But, it does come with a little velcroe strap that you can make the tube stick to a microphone. That's how you'd hear it. mic it. It worked for all my gigs, so same 4 u
No, unless you want to play it in a concert. Like i said in the last comment, the talkbox is an amp, so it make plenty enough sound so you cant hear it extermley well in your room, (its like a 5 or 7 watt amp) BUt you would need to get a mic hear it over the drums, guitar, and bass.
unfortunaltly, no. Although i don't know about the Banshee 2...but don't get your hopes up. BUt basically, the talkbox itself is an amp. without the tube, it IS an amp. You jus tuse the tube to manipulate the sound. You can hear it perfectly fine without a mic or an amp.
gibsons are a big mistake bro,,,,realy,,,dont waste yor time with them,,,,,,unless you get aa fully custonized one,,the stock ones are horrible,,,,,,and no one boo my comment cause most ppl think gibson is so good but they are a rip off if anyone had any idea about guitars,,,thir neck wood is trash,,,the physics of the bridge are lso horrible,,,,just cause slash plays one dosent mean there good,,,,, but bro if your guna spend over 2 grand,,,your better off with a paul reed smith....really
Yea, my guitar teacher was telling me about that. He said that the original Gibson factory changed the name to Heritage brand, and they still make the original Gibsons..or something tlike that. I didn,t want to belive him because i love the way gibsons look, but now that i have more than one person telling me that, well... i gues i won't buy it. I don't even have 2 grand, though, i was hoping to get it for high school grad. i am thinking about getting a Michael Kelly Partiot Glory, though.
my Epiphone Les Paul is truly amazing, even tho everyone told me i should get a gibson. i played a Gibson sunburst, then epiphone sunburst. n the epiphone sounded so much brighter and cleaner to me. perhaps just my opinion of the comparison. but the Gibson sucked
well gibson les pauls are really a heavy guitar and are meant to have a deep lush tone to them. but yes, 2 grand is a lot. i would just throw out that squire, upgrade to like a fender or ibanez or somthing and if you want slap on some EMGs. what amp are you using? the one that the squire came with?
well, im not gonna throw out my first guitar, but im getting a michael kelly patriot glory (beatiful guitar) soon. As for the amp, if you didn't know, talkboxes dont use amps, just mics...but my guitar amp is a line 6 spider 3 with the 400 presets (75 watts)
this is Staloreye, the guy who made the video that this is a response to. line six is good. i just got a line 6 Tone port usb interface. its pretty nice, has a bunch of amps built into the software and stuff
Thnx. I've been wanting a Gibson Les Paul, but it'll be a while before i actually get enough money. But suprisingly, my sqire is pretty good compared to all other squires, and even some fenders. It was, like $280, and it came without a bundle.
No. YOu can hear it perfectly fine without it, but if you want to play in a concert, or something, you would definently need a mic. I got a mic/stand bundle for, like, 70$ at GuitarCenter. Its nowhere near as loud as a PA system, but still pretty good.
Your good... But squiers suck!

yea, definatly. Like i said, it is about as loud as a 7 or 10 watt amp. But it's nowhere near loud enough to power over a whole band.

@guitarman1568 you say that but in fact the driver is usually 50-100 watts or so to get the volume to travel up the hose
