@urheadonastick I agree totally. It's the "reaction" that an artist is looking for. Even an unfavorable reaction is a good sign. It means that piece has moved someone. From what I've heard of Merzbow, "Requiem" has more traditional musical qualities than many of his other pieces. I guess I would refer to his work as more of "sound art", and certianly more powerful than alot of crap out there today.

This is not too bad. It actually has a decent melody and rhythm. Its flaw is that it just goes on too long and too repetitively for an instrumental, and lacks an overall structure or vocals to distract from these flaws. Also meat is really tasty.

Its like a tone poem each noise can represent a action or a thing These excessive use of timbres are not found in common music nor can you find them in natural areas in this amount Also if you listen to noise you start to place notes in yourself that you would find appealing It takes a vast amount of balls and ideology to create this music because if its done wrong you get chastised for it.
