The problems with polygomy are the abuse and neglect that go along with how its implemented. Its nothing wrong with the idea, but just how it plays out in practice. It leads to abuse. Its the same with legalizing drugs.
So yes, When certain situations more often than not lead to other innocent parties' rights being infringed, they will outlaw the cause. And rightfully so.
Do you think that drugs should be illegal? Do you think you should have the right to impose your morality onto someone else? Because that is what you are doing by telling people they can't do drugs. You are imposing your morality onto them.
