  • @DarkSpikes57 oh...... im stupid

  • i love how the pictures say its the year 2022

  • Where do u buy all ur hardware from? Awesome guitars and playin i've watched almost all ur vids! \m/

  • What's the name of this song I remember it being about Area 54

  • @theeholygoalie

    "Roswell 47" by Hypocrisy

  • nice one I remember it from the 90's. nice guitars too

  • I wanna do this to my old RG120. I think I'm just going to block off the trem and get some new pickups for it. I really wanna fix it up and make it somewhat nice lol

  • I love hardtails guitars, im building a kit now with a TOM bridge...

  • @alexis221woodworks

Thanks for watching :) Just checked out the vids on your channel. That Explorer body looks exceptional for a kit. Its going to have some serious potential. Have you decided on a finish yet?

  • Hypocrisy!!!!

  • I don't blame you a bit, trem bridges just won't stay in tune unless you have a floyd rose. And even with them theres a loss of tone and sustain,IMO hard tails the way to go.They put those crappy trems on everything so beginners can make all the cool noises and break a few strings.Give me a clasic tune-omatic any day!!!!

  • So because I don't like tremolo guitars that makes me stupid? Do you also think Slash and Paul Gilbert are stupid because they prefer hardtails? Now there's nothing wrong with a whammy, if thats your thing, but its not my thing, so fuck off.

  • may i ask you why you made a hardtail out of a tremolo

  • This was a cheaper model Ibanez, and the tremolo was poorly designed, and it wouldn't stay in tune at all. I got so tired of it that I was gonna scrap the axe, but I decided to do this instead. I think it came out pretty well.

  • Great job! Could yu tell me where you got the mahogany blocks to fill the front and back cavities? Thanks very much.

  • Thanks. I just happened to have some scrap pieces laying around at the time. When I do order it though I get it from Woodworkers Source. You can google it to find their site. I believe they are having a sale on mahogany right now.

  • do you still have the tremolo?

  • Na, sorry. I sold it on E-bay a few months back.

  • i dont get..whats a tremolo and whats a hardtail????whats the difference??can som1 plz tell me>>??

  • A Tremolo system allows you to make vibratos and make rapid tone shifts, simply by pulling or pressing on the tremolo arm. A hardtail only holds the strings.

  • children of bodom in the backrouund??

  • No, its Hypocrisy. I don't really like Bodom. Check some of Hypocrisy's stuff out. They rock. Thanks for watching :)

  • kk np im getten this guitar and i just like wanted to see some stuff about it and yeah ill check em out they sound amazing

  • There cover of black metal was good. Most of that album was.

  • What song is this?

  • Roswell 47, by Hypocrisy

  • this sounds nothing like cob

  • Your the moron. This guitar stays in tune twice as good as it did. Now go play with your little toy skateboards, you ignorant ass kid.

  • i got that same guitar yesterday same color and everything and its great

  • Now if only you took requests..

  • Thanks, I'll be glad to take a request :) Would be nice to do this for a living!!

  • If you require money, I've nothing to spare.

  • To that I can only say: It'll be an exclusive kickass instrument! Rock it!!!!

  • Thanks Riker1982

  • music made it fun to watch lol. thats sweet!!

  • fucking great i never can do that to my guitar

  • Thanks ben, its not so hard :)

  • yea but still it looks hard and from a professional

  • awesome Matt! hope it sounds freakin awesome! BTW why did you decide to change the tremolo out? i personally prefer fixed bridges or string through bodies. i don't like floating bridges or tremolo's. but that's just me!

  • Thanks Scbene. I changed the tremolo out for the same reason you just stated. I prefer fixed bridges. Much better tuning stability. I'd rather have a string through. I should be done today or tommorow!!

  • that looks awesome, I wish I could do cool stuff like that to my old rg, I sold it last month.

  • Thanks AnissaAcoff, If your interested in a project try looking on E-bay for a guitar thats broken or that looks bad, and fix it up the way you want! :)

  • that's cool man , i can't wait to see it finished !

  • Thanks dude, I should have another vid up this evening showing what I've done so far.

  • verry good your protec

you can see my news cover pleace

  • Thanks sonnedark, I'll come and check em out.

  • rg-120 was my first guitar...pretty good for $200 smackers.

  • BTW u should have use " Famowood " woodfiller, its pretty much the best on the market...or maybe sum bondo..but famowood is best.

  • Thanks for the info mihawk. I'm hoping this thing will be a lot better guitar once I'm finished, at least tuning wise anyways.
