And then of course he would come to the conclusion that the answer is no because they aren't aware of the moves that the other ones have tried and failed miserably with. Karl and Steve are really good mates and I doubt there's actually any animosity. Steve's a comedian and he can definitely handle it, it's just funnier if he acts upset and annoyed.
Plus, these days Steve is quite fashionable and has a manly beard so he looks a lot better.
As with all the times when Karl decides to have a gentle 'pop' at Steve, Steve always seems to handle it with fairly good grace. Says more about the Smerch than anything really
