What ever happened to the process of running the tires through a bath of liquid nitrogen and then crushing them into a granulated "powder" with a hydraulic press? The steel side wall materials could be extracted with electromagnets while the carbon rubber granules are ready to be processed into hundreds of post-consumer products. I mean all that is displayed in these examples of tire reduction simply produce even more stages of cost and processing in my opinion. More effort to further process.
